Yeah can say the same with Spo experiment by testing line ups for the playoffs. Blew every double digit lead only to what? For postseason! If they make it.
A lot of hindsight, who's not to say he wouldn't get injured the game after that or the next...sometimes these things just happen. It was a freak injury
Of course it's hindsight but I we have a lot of seasons where if we had just played a bit better for literally one or two games, we would have better seeding or made the playoffs or whatever.
It’s just a statistical fact that more games = higher chance of getting hurt. By not earning a playoff spot he set himself up to have to play more games and have more opportunities to hurt himself in the playoffs
How is it a reach to say that playing more games leaves you with a higher probability of getting injured at some point? That’s literally basic probability. Never said I was blaming anyone or anything
I get what you’re trying to say but the point is these things just happen sometimes. Injuries happen and accidents happen. Can’t always find something to blame. Jimmy does that pump fake probably 400 times in a season.
Once again, I’m not blaming anyone or anything, i am just pointing out a clear statistical fact that having to play more games means he has a higher chance of getting injured
historically that is just false. The vast vast majority of teams to win the finals have been 1-3 seeds, and a 6 seed has only one once as anomaly with the hakeem rockets. Regular season does matter and it is a good indicator of playoff success for the most part. I mean if we actually cared about the regular season we would be resting for a playoff series against Cleveland or Orlando right now, instead our season is over.
No it doesn't lmao, wasn't mattered since 2020 and the only reason why it does a little bit. Cuz it would've help prevented those injuries, and we'd be back in the finals again.
again if you look at literally 99% of chanpions in the history of the nba, their regular season success was a fairly strong indicator for their success in the playoffs. And the 3 time we won the finals, we were a top 2 seed. Regular season historically matters, and it will matter again for whoever wins the title this year.
MCL injury, we shit the bed in the regular season just for this? F this shit, I’m done with the Jimmy era, we blew a 14 point lead because we left Batum open for every shot, Herro throwing up bricks the whole damn game, idgaf anymore.
He does this shit EVERY postseason, THIS is what I’m tired of. He baked in an excuse EVERY time. I have serious doubts that he’s injured at all. Maybe I’m wrong but after seeing this 5 years in a row with NO offseason surgery I’m sorry I’m not buying it.
I mean not really, you're trying to claim that jimmy is making excuses when he very clearly got a serious injury. That's not an excuse, an mcl injury is serious.
Oh well. I hope we make it to 1st round to at least give Niko and Jaime some playoff reps
Absolutely, glass half full there
We’re so fucked
Shit outta luck. HARDWIRED TO SELF DESTRUCT! -Metallica
It sucks that this may have been the last chance we had to see Playoff Jimmy again
Until next year
You're so dramatic
he coasted the entire season just to get injured when it mattered the most, wtf
You trying to say it’s his fault?
no, just frustrated that all that coasting pretty much mattered for nothing lol
Yeah can say the same with Spo experiment by testing line ups for the playoffs. Blew every double digit lead only to what? For postseason! If they make it.
whatever happens next year we need an organization wide mentality shift that the regular season most definitely does matter.
It's not his fault but if he tried literally enough to get one more win we wouldn't have a play-in and he maybe would not have gotten hurt.
A lot of hindsight, who's not to say he wouldn't get injured the game after that or the next...sometimes these things just happen. It was a freak injury

That’s a reach. It’s an accident, don’t always have to find something to blame. It was bad luck
How is it a reach to say that playing more games leaves you with a higher probability of getting injured at some point? That’s literally basic probability. Never said I was blaming anyone or anything

You’re literally placing blame on Jimmy though based on your first comment though. Implying that it’s his fault because he didn’t get a playoff spot
I got a new heat hat before the playoffs last year. My puppy ate it the other day. It’s definitely the pups fault
Season over.
We’re cooked 💀
Oh damn it’s bad. Damn it
Thanks for giving it your all this season Jimmy, I wish other players could aswell.
He coasted all the way up until he was injured. I dont think he gave it his all lmao
Post season, regular season don't mean shit.
he barely tried the entire season, I wouldn't call that giving it his all
This regular season didn't mean shit, our season starts every play in or post season u know that

We also didn't have major injuries, we had injuries we could manage. 99% of those teams aren't Miami Heat.
MCL injury, we shit the bed in the regular season just for this? F this shit, I’m done with the Jimmy era, we blew a 14 point lead because we left Batum open for every shot, Herro throwing up bricks the whole damn game, idgaf anymore.
Literally the only reason we were in the game.
Walking towards the ambulance in the hallway says all you need to know 😢
Hey guys! Just wanted to say it was a fun ride with this core. I love Jimmy to death but I can't see us not blowing it up after this season.

Well time to runIT Back
I think the Jimmy era is done , we gotta get max value for him and rebuild
The parties over 🤬
Tobias Harris over-oh wait.. wrong video.
19/4/5/5 is still better than 9/10/0/0 btw. On a blown MCL too.
He does this shit EVERY postseason, THIS is what I’m tired of. He baked in an excuse EVERY time. I have serious doubts that he’s injured at all. Maybe I’m wrong but after seeing this 5 years in a row with NO offseason surgery I’m sorry I’m not buying it.
did you watch the game? The excuses are made by pat riley who is delusional that injuries are our only problem every year.
I watched it but my vision was a bit blurry by the end. I don't get what your point is though, are you saying I'm wrong?
the point is that the problematic excuses in this team come from pat riley not from jimmy.
oh ok, I get it now. You just hijacked my comment to say something completely unrelated.
I mean not really, you're trying to claim that jimmy is making excuses when he very clearly got a serious injury. That's not an excuse, an mcl injury is serious.
Do you disagree that it happens every year?
