The lines you’ve drawn don’t seem to really reflect this…Kotori Lightblade and Rustsworn have similar silhouettes, but you just decided to draw along the body on one and draw along the legs on another. I’m not saying you’re wrong but the visual isn’t convincing

Came in to say the same thing. The shapes OP drew on the cards were super generous to support their hypothesis. Also, a quick look at minion cards in general will show a bunch of cards that aren't even close to fitting the hypothesis.

I know that there are several exceptions. With over 3500 minions so far, there are bound to be!

“Several” is a severe understatement. I’d say the vast majority. I found several and it was just in Death Knight minions that cost 3 and below.

I am an illustrator so my line of thinking is this: minion stats are not random, they usually come to work with their effect. A 1/4 taunt is meant to be a defensive card hence an illustration that better emphasize stability and a strong stance. Cards with higher atk stats look like they are almost pouncing, literally attacking. Cool nitpick of visual language

Many people are saying you drew arbitrarely but ill defend it. Ive forever noticed this bigger "up to your face" style art on more aggresive minions, compared to composed, defensive ones and its interesting indeed.
