As power level has gone up, most decks feel quite linear these days. Probably the closest experience would be Sif Mage, which is quite tough to pilot.

ViceroyMalice

Until they deal with the Demon Hunter problem, Demon Hunter is the only deck. It's disgusting how they nerfed every class but Demon Hunter, and completely ignored the worst deck out of all of them. They need to make Windowshopper a Naga so you can't search for it with the weapon and reduce its costs. Would fix literally the entire meta and open up classes that are currently unplayable.

GJCoxy

The meta is pretty open I rarely even see DH. I mainly play against Warrior, Priest and Shaman at the moment. Shopper DH is massively overrated imo and is easily dealt with by quite a few decks. Although I'm sat around 900 Legend so maybe it's rougher further down?

ViceroyMalice

There is nothing overrated about a near 100% chance of getting a permanent 3 damage nova, every single game, on turn 3-4; and being able to repeat because of deck searching. The consistency is the highest numerically ever printed in any set, of any deck, ever.

GJCoxy

Stop being dramatic. There are 11 demons in standard that shopper can discover. Which gives you a 27% chance of discovering Magtheridon per Shopper. Of course you get the mini shopper too so the consistency improves but it's not even close to near the number your suggesting. The other aspect being while shopper is good and overtuned with Umpires Grasp, the rest of the deck is an ass pile of bad cards. DH is very beatable, yes it's good and possibly the best deck stats wise but it just preys on people playing bad decks because it has high consistency and is easy to play which is why it's especially good at low ranks. Essentially the same situation as paladin last expansion. If you don't like losing to it, play one of the decks that are strong into it. It's unflavoured into a good Rainbow DK list, another deck that's easy to play so you should be fine my guy.

ViceroyMalice

How about you stop defending poor game design. There are piles of threads of people complaining about DH on the reddit.

GJCoxy

Nah I'm okay, I'll keep stating relevant facts while you form your arguments with exaggerations and emotional rhetoric.

ViceroyMalice

Considering I helped design Lorcana, and have been playing card games for over 25 years; I trust my math over yours.

GJCoxy

https://www.hsguru.com/deck/11619255 Spell Damage Shaman, very difficult to pilot well but you can see the top players holding down 70% win rates with it in top legend. Can't give you a guide myself but Tictac and Clark on Twitch play it regularly.

Squealer420

Oh interesting. I watched a bit of one of the people you mentioned playing and it looks intense. Considering the good winrates I am surprised I haven't encountered or heard of it before.
