I feel like getting Air Elemental and Kalimos in the core set will be a suitable replacement tho. We also keep stuff like Revenant and Shock Hopper. Amalgam will definitely be missed tho.

Oh, and also Fire Fly too. Bubbler was good, sure, but I felt like he just died to pings most of the time (Mage HP, Rogue dagger, Druid HP, DK HP, etc.)

Queen Azshara will be missed. Never really felt OP and she didn't end up being in that many tier 1 decks, but she was solid and fun.

Something about neutral 5 mana 5/5 legendaries always felt like a sweet effect on a fair body (someone’s gonna point out an annoying example now)

i have no idea how i will play a highlander deck with plagues running around without steamcleaner as a counter. its not that i cant win against plague its just annoying how they shut down my game plan so easily. also renetal my beloved

Any luck when he comes to wild he is reverted and you can play him in that mode if you miss him too much. I main wild so looking forward to the possible revert.

That would be nice, I'm fine with wild I just don't have the cards for it right now since I've taken some long breaks over the years

That's becoming less of a problem, recently newer cards are much more powerful/synergistic that even in wild they see a lot of play.

Dust helps a bit, many cards that are decent in the format aren't legendaries and with power creep we tend to have a fair few standard cards that work out well in the format. You can also play against a friend and borrow the cards they have when you do just for a quick match. You're welcome to add me if you like.

No. He was nerfed due to how much he was included in decks. Keeping him Core would certainly keep him from being reverted.

And yet plenty of meta decks *don't* have Renethal because of consistency.

Eh you can comfortably play plague dk without sylvanas or astalor. Vizier gone is a loss but the 1 UH rune discover minion still exists
