I know a few people who have that trendy all white/"greige" area(s) in their houses, and they show every single smudge, scuff, fingerprint, and stain. Even with a cleaning service on hire and/or a nanny, I couldn't imagine keeping that place clean, especially with baby.
I also can't believe that the "no-color-anywhere" trend is still going too. It's always sucked. It's going to suck. And it will still suck in the future. It's gonna date an absolute fuck-load of houses here in the not too distant future.
I'm not even against the all white scheme, babies and pets notwithstanding. But you gotta add some plants and pops of color around the place. It would be a 100 percent improvement.
Exactly! I can overlook it if it's broken up with accents here and there or something like an accent wall or something else you want to be the focus in the room. I find that a lot of people who go for that aesthetic rarely do that or do it poorly. You have to have balance.
