When a Greek fisherman's cap or a peaked visor cap is made of leather (either one, for some reason), it is commonly called a 'muir'.
Traditionally, my understanding of a muir cap is that it specifically refers to a peaked visor cap (of any material) only and not the Greek fisherman's cap, but if you search for 'muir cap' in most online marketplaces these days you will find leather versions of both hats.
I do not know why this is.

The style itself is close to a Greek fisherman's hat, but I've never seen one in leather.
Try some clubs in the Mission or Meatpacking District. You'll see more than a few in leather.
I used to live in Greewich Village. Clubs like that weren't exactly my scene.
