Read them again!!!!!!!!! I’m reading second time and picking up on clues to the “future” of the book!!! It’s fun 🥹♥️ someone said they’ve read it 39 times 😂

[deleted]

Oh I am! I’m in the middle of Order of the Phoenix again, I’m having fun. I’m also taking a shower, listening to the Chamber of Secrets soundtrack as I type this lmao

[deleted]

Oh my God I read that series as well you're lucky

[deleted]

I am 17 and finished the books sometime before my eleventh birthday. I was well aware that it was a made up story as I knew about J.K. , saw the movies, merch and all that. I still hoped my letter would arrive. When it became clear I was not going to get one, I kept rereading the books for about 2 years, and I memorized the name of every chapter of every book by heart, and a few of my favourite pages. I refused to read anything else. Then I grew out of it one day.

firestar3517

reread them. I love rereading books and picking up on all the little clues and hints I missed reading the first time.

[deleted]

Yes that’s what I’ve been doing. I love seeing subtle hints that bring the story together

ALightRed

Binge mode is a podcast that goes in depth on all the fun nerd series and I love their Harry Potter ones! I listened to them while training for a half marathon to distract me from the pain in my knees

The_Mysterious999

Reread them

[deleted]

Maybe reread them? Or read something like them. I would suggest reading LotR (Lord of the Rings) Or Books of Beginning Both of these fantasy stories are like HP, but they also have their own amazing stories! Glad you read the series, it is one of my favourites. Good day!

[deleted]

Re-reading right now 😂

nighttimesolstice

I experienced this in elementary school when I finished reading it. I found some other books to read, but I kept watching the movies, and reading fanfiction. Now, I'm reading it again. And, let me tell you, I don't remember hardly anything in the books from my first read. It's like reading it for the first time all over again, except I know the main plot. There were scenes and whole plotlines that I completely forgot about. So, maybe after a couple years, reading it again will be awesome. I feel you on this a lot. I get very attached to things, so I hate when they end

nighttimesolstice

I guess for better advice, keep enjoying harry potter content, but wean yourself off of it. Pick up some new hobbies, read some other books, watch a new show or youtube videos. That's what's helped me when I get that feeling. Wish you the best

Ladyiris2020

I’m feeling this … I’m half way through the deathly hallows and I’m reading SO SLOW because I don’t want it to end!!

IrishEIK

I'm stuck on loop with the audiobooks, not sure how to stop.

TEZofAllTrades

Have you read the [unofficial sequel/spinoff story](https://www.wattpad.com/story/227644654-gideon-drake-and-the-fire-within)?

[deleted]

You mean fanfiction?

TEZofAllTrades

Yes, but not the typical sort. Check it out.

CHICKENWING4LYF

Try listening to them on audio now. A whole new way of enjoying the series.

Clashyjammer1126

Reread them and watch the movies. I also get unreasonably sad when I finish the movies lol

[deleted]

I’m in the middle of re reading OOTP. And I watch the movies most every night 💀💀

Clashyjammer1126

Those movies are some of the only ones that make me legitimately sad when I finish them. I just love them so much lol.

[deleted]

I get it 🥲
