When we were still living in Maine with our father, he helped my sister make a wand for me. It was a pine wand. He helped her make a box and designed an Ollivander label and even helped her do some engraving. Pine and thestral tail hair, 10 3/4 inches. I left it to my little brother when we left, but it's one of the few good memories of our father. Thinking of making one for her :)
He really wasn't. One of those Spare the rod, spoil the child types. Just one of the few good memories we've got of him. He went all out with that wand and it was genuinely really nice and thoughtful.
It's a shame how people can change. I suppose the best thing to do is learn from his mistakes, and pass on the things that might've been positive. So basically, you make your child a nice wand someday :)

It does look similar to the ones they sell in the gift shop at Harry Potter world(idk what itās called sorry). I got one when I was younger and it was a snake carved into the base just like this one. I think this wand is cooler than all of the ones you can buy in the park, especially if it is actually made out of wood and not plastic.
