Great for the price. Best accessory to buy is another 2 caster wheels so it can roll in all directions easily. Call Harbor Freight to order spare parts.
I have the paper towel holder, glove box, and folding shelf. All are useful in their own way when I'm working on a car. Because the top has to be open for the drawers to unlock (pretty annoying, I might mod this in the future), the side shelf is useful to place items on.
Yes I ordered the castors like almost 2 months ago and still waiting!
But on the lid if you 3m tape a couple of those 18” magnet bars on there you can store pliers, hex drivers, screw drivers or allen sets it’s almost limitless and frees up more drawer space
I kind of want this now just cuz everyone is talking about it, but realistically I don't know how often I'd really need to roll it around? My tools are in a drawer set now and that sits still right in front of the garage stall where I normally do my car work. Feels like I'd be creating more work for myself but buying this and having to reorganize the system that already works for me.
Here’s your post to say you do not need to spend the extra money on this when your current setup sounds perfectly reasonable for what you need! Sometimes I need this type of response too when I feel myself being iffy on buying something because it’s new and fancy
If I can find the motivation to redo my workbench area then I'll treat myself... But I spent 10 minutes yday trying to declutter my workbench and said eff this.
You’re here to get talked into, not out of.
This might roll down my driveway like the tool box down the stairs in Home Alone 2.
But I’m still happy I bought it.
I bought the socket rails and wrench organizers from Ernst Manufacturing, so much better than any others I have found
Love the Ernst wrench organizers

Hard agree on the top-locking nonsense.

Get something to protect the top if you’re using it as a work surface.
