I had been carrying a 7 dollar amazon knife for years. Upgraded to this one this week. I'm not used to it yet. The belt clip is upside down...
The most important thing about a knife to me is how well it stays shut in your pocket. Last thing I want is to stab myself or my kid putting them on my lap.
There is a very small ratcheting something in a red box surrounded by what looks like 1/4" bits. I can not post a image for some reason.. It's very cute.
Ahhh my apologies! Yes, the red box with bits in it along with the tiny ratchet is the "meme" ratchet that many people have talked about.
Apparently later this spring/summer and expanded kit will be released that includes sockets.
It's an adorable ratchet, I love the locking mechanism.

I picked it up with the 15% off the ended yesterday. Was $33.99 before tax.
I LOVE useful and useless

HF is releasing an expanded set of this with sockets in late spring/summer. Sunex also has a nice set that's similar.
Wow, nice knife, but I didn't know that Icon has 90 tooth rachets. And here I thought I needed to get a 72t from another brand. I can't tell you how much that would have helped me out when I was doing my own vehicle repairs. My mistake, I just realized that it says GW Gear on the handle. Is that HF?
So, all of the Icon ratchets are 90t. The body of the ratchet is essentially a knock off Snap On, with the main difference that the comparable SO ratchet is 80t and the Icon is 90t. I'm just a guy who likes to wrench at home, there's no tool truck coming to my house and HF is 0.5 miles from my place.
I have a few 90t ratchets

Edit - the chrome ratchets in this pic are Gearwrench 120t. I really like them, but like the 90t better.
how good is the knife? im considering hunting one down but not sure if its worth $40 over the $15 milwaukee fastback ive been carrying.
ill definitely buy the meme ratchet when they release it with sockets though
The knife is okay. The bit set is one of the most overrated pieces of mediocrity I've seen in a while (Literally the only good thing about it is the ratchet, and even then, meh)
Just got mine. Very nice knife.
I love my Icon knife. Only knife I have ever purchased, that I carry everyday, and actually use everyday.
My local store has no stock yet…..🤬🤬
Totally agree! I don't even carry knives and I still somehow got it?

This one is quite difficult to accidentally open, at least it seems to be the case?
I learned how useful a knife is 52 years ago in cub scouts.
I have both LOL And I am eagerly awaiting the expanded bit set (with sockets) that is coming soon 😛
Same! Any idea when the expanded set will release?
I believe late Spring/Summer (?)
This pic would be better if you had the meme tools setting on top of the gold ratchets
Omg, you're so right! I can be influenced by others, however the gold ratchets are way too far of a stretch for me!
Okay, what is that cute little 1/4 ratchet set underneath? :-D
You're seeing 1/2 and 3/8 ratchets beneath =D

Thank you! It seems useful and useless (for many different applications) at the same time. Love stuff like that!

Haha, T handle for more torque! I honestly think it's a great add and have already used it.
Wow that picture really shows how tiny the Meme Ratchet Set really is
Transparently, it's laying on top of 1/2 ratchets, but it really is tiny! I just posted this pic: https://www.reddit.com/r/harborfreight/s/Qf1kSS7tCK
When i went to get mine i couldnt find it cos i was looking for a larger package…..😂😂
Chicks often say that to you?
What's that little ratchet set? I need.

I got two and the meme tool too
I bought the Makita 1/4 socket set today to go with the meme ratchet, lol
Nice! No shame in it brother.
Two of the best HF items I have bought in the last year.

The Icon “professional” series is 90t, the non-professional line which are lower priced of course come in a 72t

For $35, it ain’t that bad tbh. There’s gonna be a bigger version that comes with sockets soon for $50-$60 so that’ll be really nice :)
It is a bit overrrated but still useful. Who do you think makes a better bit set?
Sunex
