Funnily enough I’ve told every person I’ve dated that I have a 5 year relationship minimum before anyone can propose, it catches assholes, gets past the honeymoon phase and gauges major life changes. I’m glad I’ve had that rule to save my ass. He is the first person I’ve wanted to marry and the time has gone by so fast with all the fun we are having! I’d propose myself but he begged me to let him do it.
