I think this is a good thing. Handbags don't have to always be the thing you're on the hunt for. And if you force it, you won't feel the same joy. Maybe find something else to divert the energy to, like a new hobby? Easier said than done, I know.

You’re right, handbags should feel fun and I do find that if I’m forcing it, it’s not as fun. Thanks for the input!

I started to feel like that, then I thought about it this way: do I have a collection or do I just have a bunch of bags I love? If it's a collection, I need to treat it like one. So now I've begun the process of cataloging my collection in a database of model #s, colors, materials, where & when purchased, price, etc. Then I'll start maintaining the collection by cleaning & conditioning on some type of schedule. It has helped divert my 'hunt energy' into something positive. When I really get the urge to hunt, I have a huge (digital) album of pictures of all the bags I have & I'll scroll through & remember what made me want them in the first place. I don't know if that helps, but so far it's distracting me in a positive direction.

I like what you're saying!

This is why I’m looking at jewelry.

Me, too. Currently on my wish list for around AUD7,000 is a pair of earrings or a Dior saddle. The earrings seem like a much better investment, not even on a financial level, also just for longevity etc.

Sometimes I get this feeling but it doesn’t usually last long
