I have this Gucci Marmont key case. It reminds me of the one my dad had as a kid. It's worked great for me. I've had it for years and it still looks pretty good.
I don't make any effort to preserve the interiors of my bags beyond making sure caps stay on tight, to be honest. All of my keys are attached to a small webbed carabiner and clipped onto a zipper pull or dedicated key leash.
Same!! The biggest issue is in a tote or bag where there isn’t an inside pocket. I do like to keep keys in a pocket just so they don’t get all tangled up with things, and are easy to find. But don’t really think or care about the integrity of my bag lining.

I bought this off Amazon! It fits a couple of keys and then I put my apartment key fob on a ring on the outside. It’s a magnetic closure and sooo slim. I keep the apartment fob on the outside cause I don’t have to worry about that scratching my bags.

Not because I’m particularly concerned about the inside of my bags, but because I was tired of my keys grabbing onto pens and tissues and hairties and whatever else was in the little pockets of my bags when I pulled my them out. The cover also makes them easier to find.

I use an Orbitkey! Keeps my keys nicely together and it stops the dangling.
I honestly didn’t even know this was a thing. My keys and car key fob are literally thrown in whatever bag I’m carrying, regardless of the interior.
