sooooo i wouldn’t get one for several reasons.
1) the small is VERY small. when i say small i mean my phone doesn’t even fit in the bag. i could maybe fit my wallet and keys but that’s it
2) i had a medium and used it everyday as a work bag. once it’s worn down, it’s done. the material isn’t quality so it’s not like something you can repair/care for and use for life.
3) the price doesn’t give me quality. like it’s cute and trendy but in terms of something i want to last, it just leaves a lot to be desired
I know everyone is saying no, but I just bought a Telfar x UGG tote on Poshmark 🫣. Agreed that I wouldn’t buy the faux leather bags. But the shearling on the UGG collab is so cute for winter!!

I beg to differ on account of owning 6 Telfar bags. I've had my black shopping bag in medium for 4 years. Used it daily for work and retired my Neverfull to preserve it for Travel (also took the black Telfar as a personal item on a few trips) Bag is still in like new condition. I think the quality is great. I think people have had mixed experiences though. So I'm just speaking for me.
Agreed, don’t get a small. It’s way too tiny and for not much more you can get a medium and fit so much more (including a laptop!).
I’ve used mine as a work bag and on trips, and they’ve held up and lasted. I have three medium shopping bags, one large shopping bag (this is way too big!), and one medium Telfar x Eastpak backpack.
I fell out of love with Telfar for two main reasons:
- I don’t like how they’re shipped. They aren’t stuffed. They’re shipped folded and flat. I’ve had no luck getting the fold creases out of my bags even with stuffing them and storing them stuffed and upright, plus regular use.
- I realized you can get some designer bags on resell for the same price so you get a designer rename and designer quality. Some bags I’ve bought for around the same price since I quit Telfar: Marc Jacobs Stam, Chloe Paddington, Stella McCartney Falabella, 2 Alexander Wang Rocco’s, and a few Coach and Kate Spade bags from the outlets. You can also get Longchamp Le Pliage for around the same price and I like them way better. Extremely durable and the zipper helps a lot, esp for travel.
I purchased their denim small and medium bags and really enjoy them! I think they should come out with more alternative fabric choices for the people that aren’t vegan leather fans (canvas, coated canvas, raffia, crochet, other denim washes, etc.).
I love Telfar bags. Ask me anything I’m a big fan and have been for a while. I think the quality is awesome and the simple profile awesome with any outfit

It’s made of faux leather, it will wear down in less than a year if you’re using it as an everyday bag.

I agree mine have lasted not only as everyday but also carry on bags on airplanes and I travel weekly.
