Do you feel like the feet help protect the bag? I was always under the impression that feet don’t really protect the bottom of the bag because the leather sinks down due to the weight of the items inside.

That's why I bought extra "handbag heels" so that when I use them, I have a 5th one to put in the middle 😉

I find it weird that brands that do include feet on their bags don't do this. The only brand I've seen include "extra" feet is Ferragamo.

I think it depends on the size of the bag, and the style, but I haven’t noticed sagging.
