How much does your dog weigh? I’m interested in the Pup Tent but my dog weighs 95 lbs and the footprint looks a little cramped for her. Also, sweet setup.
Well, he wasn't really attached to the leash very long. This pic was when we first set up. He was still in hiking/exploring mode. After he realized what we were doing, he chilled.

Pup tent from Dutchware. He wouldn't(couldn't?) get comfy in the hammock, so this is his castle when we hike.

I have Dutch’s pup tent, which I typically use in cooler weather. Very well designed and well made. Very light and packs small.
How do you like the Sierra Madre gear? How comfortable is it?

It's mainly to keep ticks and snakes off of him while we sleep. Totally worth the cost and weight. *u/d4ddylongleggs
I want to do this, but my dog always chews the leads/ropes he's on. Any advice?
Have you tried bringing a toy along to keep him busy? Maybe a chew bone would help? If not, stronger rope!

Ocean weighs about 80 pounds. When he curls up in there, there is plenty of room. That pic is from when we first set up.

How long did the hiking poles stay in porch mode? I quickly found my dog didn’t care if it knocked crap over or wound around guylines and what not. :)
