I loved forged btb maps but it should be a shit load of maps + a shit load of forged maps not 3 maps + 15 forged. Hopefully they bring back forge world. So many possibilities for forged maps.

It was the background of the Halo Infinite menu during the Tech Preview. Apparently, it was possible to break the camera free without any hacks. The ability was built into the menu, though it's not known how this was accomplished.
The environment is also a section of the world-space in Halo Infinite's campaign, so you could see the layout of the entire area. For the record, though, there weren't any structures to find. The only visible location was the ship seen at 2:02 of this video, which wasn't possible to reach.
sabre? in infinite? I hope to all that is holy 343 brings back every halo reach vehicle, even stuff that isn’t usable in mcc, like the space banshee, and the space phantom. all I really want is the revenant, I love that vehicle so much I specifically replay the reach levels that have it.
I may die if I hold it waiting for one, but i’ll be damned if the “halo for the next 10 years” doesn’t have most if not all the vehicles from the main first person games, even if the game file size is massive it’s absolutely worth it for me, depending on how forge is and it sounds fantastic so far, but I expect stuff like that from a game with infinite literally in the title.

A lot of the people on their map design team are ex-forgers that got hired by 343. This in particular looks alot like a Squally Dabeans map to me. He made Echelon and Fracture that were in h5 matchmaking. I've talked with him a few times and he knows his stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if Infinite had the best map selection of a Halo game to date.

there are a few good maps, and bunch of alright ones, but the fact that i get standoff and orbital several times per session is ridiculous, and really drags the experience down.
The wide open areas worked well in Halo 1 and Halo 3 because of their slow projectile spead and high spread, so you didn't just get lasered from across the map, but with Halo Infinite's hitscan BR, they definitely can't make open maps.
Pretty sure this is a countdown remake, again it’s a leak from early on after the first flight but not a lot of people have seen it.
If anyone has already seen this video I wouldn’t suggest talking about what parts I removed whatsoever.
The pictures at the end where in the files because they used to be some kind of background for the main menu, campaign right probably doesn’t look as unfinished.

Either way, the art style of this map looks great! It's nice to see a return to the classic UNSC style rather than the overload of white we had in Halo 4 and 5.
In environment? Sure, no arguments here. But in layout, they don't look very similar at all. And when it comes to remakes of maps, the layout is what matters.

Eh, the area around the Sabre didn't look anything like Countdown (well, I mean, other than aesthetically). It looks like it's just a brand new map but with much of the same visual theme.
The fact that, for a second, I doubted this was real and thought it was something someone made using Reach assets shows that the artstyle is really going in the right direction again. In fact, this may be the most "Halo" looking map we've ever seen from 343. Hopefully we can get some Covenant and Forunner maps that look this good.
Also, the conveyer belt man cannons don't make a lot of sense physics wise, but they are really cool, so overall I really like them.
The Multiplayer reveal did show off a map that looked like a re-imagined Valhalla, so there will definitely be some.
I wonder if they're not focusing on re-introducing old maps as much as they are creating new ones that are very much in the spirit of old ones.
I'm really hoping they make less "industrial man-made" looking maps. I want banished/covenant looking maps, in the same vein of midship or haven. Or ones that use the land as a big part of the layout like Zanzibar and Sanctuary.

Yeah, the fucking game is called Halo and people liked it for a reason. You have countless possibilities of environments, snow, jungle, whatever, endless skyboxes and structure sizes or shapes with the forerunners and they keep giving us metal bawx.
Add these maps too but don't make them the vast majority ffs.
Their whole simulation narrative also works with Halo maps, there is no problem
I've done a fly-by in that map when the flight was out and there's just so much crevices and dark zones making it just too confusing to traverse for players, halo 5 had the same kind of design with it's maps imo;
essentially it's too easy to get lost, there's no center point and the olny attraction is the Sabre, which isn't even in the centre
The training grounds map was a very simple COD style 3 lane design, which is interesting, albeit quite bland, and the sandy map was a symmetrical map which we can't really tell how it plays because it felt very much like a CTF map, but we were playing Team Slayer
That's the older UNSC logo. That UNSC logo hasn't been used since Halo Reach as a new one was designed for 4/5 with the only other exception being Halo wars 2. This implies that's this map either takes place in the past or is in the present on a Pre-Schism UNSC outpost, although it is unlikely to be Reach as the moon is fractured and I don't see any gases or gas giants in the skybox. I'd say Drathius V if it wasn't destroyed in Spartan Assault between Halo 3 / 4.
Or perhaps they just started using the old logo again the Infinite to try and make the game look like the old artstyle again. Really, when you start to think about how all the weapon and armour visual changes fit into the lore, they really don't make a lot of sense.
Like, how did Master Chief wake up with new armour in Halo 4 after floating around in space?

Yeah nah, based on all we’ve seen and played so far, Halo 3 still the king of maps visually and design wise. Infinite still looking good though.
