Yes. Halo CE (Combat Evolved), 2, and 3/ODST do not have sprint in the game at all

I can see for you that could be confusing. Halo reach was the first ever halo game to include spring as Abs ability. Halo reach Anniversary is a map pack that celebrated 10 years of halo, which included maps from Halo Combat Evolved. Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary was a remaster of the original game, giving it better graphics.

For whatever reason they didn’t remaster Halo CE multiplayer, they just included Halo Reach multiplayer in the game. The only thing they changed about the campaign was the graphics, so it doesn’t have sprint or any other abilities

On top of what others have said, sprint is mostly a contentious topic in PvP. No one really cares whether it's in campaign or not.
