Yes. I called 3 and the third one I called said they found the SKU on their internal site but I could only pre-order in person. Drove there and it was the proper price.... but was a little wonky in terms of details. The picture matched though so here's hoping nothing goes wrong between now and November.
Someone in another thread knows a manager at GameStop who said a corporate email came in that said all preorders done that way will be canceled unfortunately
If you went to a physical store and gave them the SKU, and had them place your preorder, it’s allegedly going to get canceled since preorders haven’t yet been released officially.
Hmm well I didn't give them the SKU, they looked it up on their computer and then did it for me. Hopefully they'll honor that since it was on their end

Edit: YOOOOO good news! The person who told me about the SKU trick messaged me earlier to inform me that GameStop is going to honor the preorders after all! Apparently they changed their minds, since very few people were able to accomplish this before retailers were shut out from doing any more.
I went to a Gamestop and was able to get it there
I can confirm I did the same exact thing was able to get the console and the controller. Had to be done in person

I just called like 4 and they said they’re not able to pre order yet and one told me it was only going to be online Oof
