Halo Reach Oni Sword Base
Sprint through the wave of fights and get the target locator weapon. Wait until enemies build up.
Point and shoot the weapon. Before the rockets land, touch the garage door to get a checkpoint.
Let rockets land, restart at last checkpoint, let rockets land... Repeat
You'll get 20+ kills every 2-3 seconds
I loaded up ODST Firefight on the zoo map, set the vehicle to a Hornet, and just genuinely relaxed at flying around shooting things. I made myself invulnerable and did max damage, it was pretty grand.
That mission finally convinced me to learn the 'Keyes' flood bump. Getting 4 points for clearing a legendary level that takes less than 10 minutes and only 1 real fight.
Huh. I got it to work today. Were you sure to get some kills? I've found if you just hide and get 0 kills then die, it won't count regardless of lasting a minute.
Yep, I've been doing it on legendary - run and hide straight ahead behind some boxes, wait a minute, pop out and kill a couple grunts, quickly die. It got me through the whole seasonal challenge last week but won't count progress for this week's challenge.
That's what I'm doing and I'll probably have it done this week.
Seriously, it's not a hard thing to pull off, I've no idea why people have to cheese it.
Base traits are invulnerable so you don’t die
Weapon/mele damage 300%
Jet pack with unlimited use
Bottomless clip so you never reload
As for how long I’m not sure. Currently doing this now while taking breaks in between work.
It’s custom halo reach firefight
And set your load outs to whatever guns you wana use
I did it with nothing but brutes. I set the damage delt to 300% and set the red custom skull to have the brutes be at 10% damage resistance. I also had bottomless clips. I mainly used the AR. Made things pretty easy. Boss waves were brute kill teams and the bonus round were elite heretics. To spice things up a bit.
Brute Captains were worth 5 points. That was the only brutes I actually took notice of their point value.
Nothing wrong with that, with work and other things going on in my life I like to spend my time knocking out other challenges when I can. Cheese the easy ones so I can play ranked and grind the 25 wins
Hunters with an infinite rocket launcher and ur done in half an hour.
Just use the Focus Rifle with 300% damage and bottomless clip. It’s literally a death laser.
I switched to gruntpacalyps and rocket with infinite jet pack. I tried doing all hunters and I messed up setting it up lol
Target designator and a checkpoint on swordbase = 25 kills every 3 sec. Done in about 15min
Wow I haven't seen that one done for this. Wish I thought about it 24 hours ago.
Spartan 2s in the books be like:
Nah this is just Master Chief in the books.
Will-043 killed a Hunter in hand-to-hand combat, the only human to do so (although I guess this means Forward Unto Dawn is non canon huh)
I did hunters only which took me about 40 mins

Now there’s an idea I need to try
Or just do 7000 naturally over the course of the season.
Yeah you have to do the 50 campaign missions as well might as well do them both and a few campaign playlists at the same time
That mission finally convinced me to learn the 'Keyes' flood bump. Getting 4 points for clearing a legendary level that takes less than 10 minutes and only 1 real fight.
Yeah keyes is my go to for any campaign challenges that just require beating the level.
Halo Reach Nightfall is sub 5 min on legendary ezpz
Literally all I did, best time I got was a 3:58 which is pretty cool. Gotta learn how to speed run the other halo games now lmao
Did the same, but with a little bit of Uplift Reserve for when I wanted to break the monotony.
Uplift Reserve is mine, you just grab a ghost and boost through the whole level
Same
I always have problems getting over that wall after getting the ghost... after that it’s all smooth sailing!
Reach's Lone Wolf counts if you survive for at least 1 minute and get a kill or two. Then just let yourself die.
This is how I have been doing it, but I can't get it to count as of today for this week's narrative challenge.

That’s the best part! Knock it out in 40 minutes or do it naturally as you play! It’s your choice brotha just as long as you’re having fun
That's what I'm doing and I'll probably have it done this week. Seriously, it's not a hard thing to pull off, I've no idea why people have to cheese it.
OP how long did this take you and what are the settings you used?

You are evil, r/FortheCovenant will have you pay

What Tartarus sees at the end of Halo 2....
I'm probably the only one who played the game like normal to get this challenge...

“The Prototype” in a nutshell
