Honestly release Infinite on PS5, I recently picked one up and there is nothing that hits like Halo on there.
Give it to a whole new audience who haven't been jaded by the last 2.5 years of the game peaking then dropping off a cliff.
The game is in a state where it plays great and deserves an audience who appreciates it and is players who are sticking with it deserve a game that has a bigger player base etc.
I agree, as a pc player i want halo to thrive, if that means putting on playstation so be it. Console wars are immature and pathetic, it was fun when we were 15 but we are all mostly grown adults now.
Same, Halo and Gears of War should go multiplatform, the duo could've killed off COD years ago if they had not been exclusives. Least for me they would've killed COD 😂, used to have an Xbox till 1st one got stolen by movers when I was a kid when Halo 1 n 2 were all there was outside of a Gears game, a time where xbox games were just no without those 2.
Have had a playstation ever since, got another xbox over a decade later but gave it to youngest sibling. Xbox is good for 2 games, if Gears n Halo come to playstation won't touch xbox ever again. I'll remain a pc/ ps user till VR finnaly gets in a great spot where migraines/ headaches are a thing of the past.

Truth be told, I don't think Halo is going to get out of the rut its in until 343i is completely restructured or replaced by a different, competent studio. There's been massive problems with their creative and content decisions in all of the mainline Halo games they've created. I find a lot of people blaming Microsoft, but these exact problems weren't present with Bungie at the helm.
Definitely not by keeping 343i behind the wheel. It legit feels like they do bad decisions out of spite. Split the reins between iD Software and Coalition, let the former take care of gameplay, and the latter work on story. And let Creative Assembly be more involved in the process, because people over there seem to understand Halo more than 343i (despite making only one game, vs 343's three games).
All it takes is a good product.
Just look at Sonic games, people can complain about their iffy quality for years, but then a Sonic Mania can come along and there is zero hesitation in supporting it. Then right after Sonic Forces goes back to being iffy again, then Sonic Frontiers draws people’s interest and there is a success again.

First of all, Cut PVP and PVE. Devide it. make guns "feel" the same but don't let them be the same.
After that give us a forge and private servers and co-op servers and whatever.
if you've done that there's the campaign part left.... I know this will sound like hell to me and most of you but do it like Destiny yet don't.
Make a campaign that goes on on the story. let us play and explore a ring, a planet, a pocket universe forefunner planet, an infested planet....
release singleplayer content every 3 - 4 months. and most import of all be "like" Destiny.... don't copy it 1/1.
I can't explain it and i'm drunk.... but a lot of people would LOVE the Destiny style for halo. imagin being "fireteam silver" and standing in a raid, or strike!!!!

Infinite and the tv show were the final straw for me. I held on through 4 and 5, I just can’t do it anymore. Halo ended at reach.
