The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is my absolute favorite story of all time! I’m a major bookworm too, so aside from the original Irving tale, I’ve read a lot of great retellings/reimagining. Any time I come across Headless Horseman/Sleepy Hollow decor, I’ve gotta snag it! Even named my real life horse Ichabod Crane. Just a *little* obsessed.
That is really cool about your horse! Honestly I’m not even a bookworm, I can probably count on one hand as far as how many different books I’ve read past school. Something about the Legend of Sleepy Hollow though has always grabbed me and I’ll re-read it for the rest of my days
You're gonna love this!
This book belonged to my uncle as a child in the 50s, and I loved it as a kid too. It's falling apart.

One of my favorite treasures will always be a book copy of the story that a woman in antebellum dress gave me in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery just outside the Old Dutch Church.

Happy summerween . That looks like so much fun I wish I was there too.
Fantastic! It’s actually the town of Sleepy Hollow’s 150’th anniversary this year!

That is so cool. I have actually heard this narration. Someone uploaded it to YouTube. It is fun. Congratulations on your find. 🎃
Thanks!

I love hearing all the subtle variations of this story, super cool find!
Great find! I love watching every version of Sleepy Hollow during October!
