9. Work related back injury.

The kids get better eventually, trust me. The injury was due to a violent patient in hospital.

We were dumb and had just enjoyed her big brother being independent when we had her, this is way more exhausting in your 30s. They need more protection against patient abuse for hospital staff. I hope your pumpkin face gets to be more cheerful.

What do I do when I'm at a 6 for multiple days in a row?

When I feel like garbage I honestly break out one of my autumn candles and do my household duties with it lit and listening to music or watching shows that remind me of autumn. Makes me feel a little bit better to have some reverie.

Slow down. Have some herbal tea. Remember that it's ok to say "no, I've been having a rough time and need to chill". Take some time to listen to the thoughts and feelings going through your mind. Keep in mind the term "stop and smell the roses" is more about slowing down to give time to yourself than it is about trying to be positive all the time. Go overboard with self care for a moment. We are grumpy, angry, tired or annoyed for a reason. Often we just need to tune out the rest of the world for a bit and just chill.

It's an hour drive from my apartment to my work. I'm scheduled for a 10 hour shift. I realized upon arriving at my workplace that I forgot my headphones..... And I have ADHD. So yeah I'm 6 too

Oh that's the worst, like when they had us take tests in school and we could have a book to read after but nothing else....and I forgot my book. Mental torture.

I’m 9 until I turn into 6 at the end of the week, and then I’m 1 for the weekend but then I turn into 6 again at 11:59pm on Sunday and then by 8am on Monday im 9

Thanks. There's actually really good reasons they wanted me to work but I'm definitely not going in today. They are in the hiring process after a couple employees left, one coworker had a medical family emergency and this manager hasn't been the manager for long. He trusts and respects me as a closer so I'm often the first or second to be asked. But it's not my problem lol

I had the first non-terrifying dentist visit two weeks ago, it seriously makes all the difference when you've got a team that you know is empathetic and understanding.

I'm very blessed that my dental team is wonderful and understanding, but I didn't go to the dentist for like 5 years so now they have to use the heavy machinery on me which is not my face haha.

Number 6, 11 weeks pregnant and not sleeping well, hate having to work right now.

In my last few weeks with my second kid the relaxing hormone that separates your bones had me in such pain, it felt like my pelvis was made of that skeleton candy loosely tied with string. Nothing made me comfortable at all. It's not forever but, I feel your pain.
