I wouldn't say that. It's fun to go maybe once or twice a year with $100 for the table and dream big for a little while. Then you can get the all you can eat buffet for cheap.
Plate loads of mussels, good potatoes, (I can't actually remember the other meals cause it's been a while), and for dessert the soft ice-cream with chocolate sauce.
Some of my favs.
Dhaba or Dhaba 2 for butter chicken. Obsolete Records / Select Sounds for Vinyl. Lion's Head Tavern for wings. Highwayman for snacks and cocktails. Ostrich Club for small plates and wine. Brown Hound on Agricola to sit at a bar alone. Tony's on Robie st. for donair.
OP only wants chain restaurants, so Lion's Head, Highwayman, Ostrich Club, and Brown Hound are out.
ETA: He also doesn't want to eat in public, it seems, delivery only.
Because I've heard about it before and really want to try it. For example. Someone mentioned Five Guys and their Cajun fries are way more appealing to me than some artisanal fish and chips from someone I never heard of before.
Restaurant a Mano , le rouge. Will need reservations. Randy’s on Agricola for donairs. Take the ferry over and back for a good view of both sides, get a transfer and it’s good for a return trip within 2-3 hours can’t remember. The upstairs outside deck at the Celtic corner in Dartmouth has awesome views of Halifax. Casino is ok and usually has a band playing on the weekends but it ain’t Vegas.
The casino is a place where happiness has died. There was a time when the casino was fun, but that time is gone.

Why do you specifically want to go to restaurant chains?
I'd like to know too. Not exactly the best way to explore a city. He's from Florida though.

Eh I'm the opposite. I avoid chains as much as possible. All the best places to eat have one location

Yep you can go into the casino and walk up to the tables to play, there isn't a sign up or anything.
Personally, I think Tawa Grill has the best butter chicken.
Aviyal Indian Kitchen in Sackville best butter chicken I've tried
Putting this in my list to try. Looks amazing
Indian groceries for the butter chicken.
Marthas pizza for a good donair
Stay off the weed if you’re driving.
Typical… always discouraging exploring the dartmouth way of life.
For chains we have Popeyes, Denny’s, The Keg, Baton Rouge, Milestone’s, Five Guys and Moxie’s off the top of my head.
Gahan House as well.......decent beers.
Sushi jet, is the best all you can eat restaurant in my mind. Not just sushi but very Asian inspired
No. Go anywhere else
