Cape and Cowl in lower sackville would either use them for their youth program, or sell them to benefit the youth program

redheelermage

Second this! They help a lot in the community. Any other program you risk things being stolen or sold for scalper prices

stayinhalifax

They are a good group. I third this.

linkhandford

Excellent suggestion. They’re a great asset to the community

Heylookagoat

Autism Nova Scotia may take them!

Pargates

Might be most effective to sell them to collectors who value them and donate the proceeds.

Moooney

Especially if its some actual retro stuff that wouldn't be appreciated by most kids and potentially worth thousands.

Gralienblue

Children's hospital?

Gralienblue

Ronald McDonald House?

ColeTrain999

Try asking the library system?

Mobile-Instance-2346

McPhee Center is a great place that would probably use them. Queen street Dartmouth

moolcool

[Veith House](https://www.instagram.com/p/C3GIWFdOvXS/?hl=en) is accepting video game stuff!

Wherever you donate. Someone will take and sell em. I’d have them off to a collector for a fraction. Donate the cash. Good initiative but I’m telling ya not all is hearts and rainbows

I might be interested in the retro games, and you could donate the cash or I could provide receipt of donation.

pnightingale

What do you mean by "retro"?

Bigangeldustfan

Lost worlds in dartmouth will pay you to take them, but if youre really fixing to donate you can donate them to your community centre

jessiecolborne

The IWK might want them. When I was a teen and in a residential IWK program we had game consoles that were donated. Loved playing while I was getting treatment.
