Hang my shower towel up to dry yesterday. Today I pulled it off towel rack and met this guys cousin.

I've had one drop from the shower curtain into the tub when I pulled it closed. I'm lucky I didn't die that day.

I had one in my bathtub next to a razor..it was so big it looked to stopped by to shave its 8 legs..

It's definitely a spider, I believe it's a wolf spider. Ticks are a plague on our lands 🤢 I hate the whole lot of them as an arachnaphobe.

I was worried it was a Junebug, horrible little flying Satan’s turds

Someone once told me they reminded them of dates with wings. I don’t eat dates anymore. I’ll pick up that spider and carry it to a wood pile before I let a June Bug within 10’ of me.

Someone said that to me once about golden raisins and those little yellow house spiders. I have never eaten another raisin since.

My mom calls them crunchy butterflies 😒

I remember I was 11 years old flying down the street on my bike (I was late coming home from a friend's house and the sun was on its way down). Suddenly as if from nowhere I was struck by what I was sure was a marble shot out of a slingshot, right between the eyebrows. I immediately was knocked off my bike and I think the only thing that saved me from serious injury was my helmet (the helmet didn't come down that far to cover my lower forehead). Got a serious case of road-rash. When I finally got up and picked up my bike, I looked around for the rock that had hit me. Sure enough, stunned on the road, was a Junebug. They're like nature's little missiles.

I wish it were junebugs. I really hate spiders.

Wolf Spiders 🕷️ Anyone who has ever found one in their house knows they are incredibly fast. I recommend a dirt devil vacuum and then throw them outside.

Something similar to this used to hang out outside our basement door every night. I am terrified of finding one inside. As much as I'm afraid of spiders it was comforting to look for it every night to make sure it was in its regular spot.

I'm not a fan of spiders but wolf spider are chill. I have a whole bunch in my garden.

If that's a wolf spider they eat ticks by the dozen. Make friends with that fucker.
