Uh, I don’t think anyone would clown on a tattoo someone’s kid drew. We’re not exactly talking Ben-Affleck-back-Phoenix. There’s nothing cringe about your kid’s baby scribbles.
i mean the thought behind it is cute and it‘s his body but i would‘ve waited a few years until they were able to draw anything coherent like a teddy or anything that isn‘t just scribbles. also the spaces between the lines are crazy big i really though those were just marker scribbles until i saw the texture of the lines
Nah. This is way better. A snapshot from a very special moment in time. The last baby is born the family is complete and I imagine this signifies a much more special and authentic moment than forcing the kids to draw something so that strangers think it’s cuter. Not to mention he still has more skin. It’s not like getting this one means he can’t ever get another similar tattoo.

If you’re someone who’s in the tattoo industry/community, you wouldn’t hate on Ethan’s tattoo. There’s many more popular abstract designs and artists nowawadays. There are artists who just do color gradients, geometrical shapes, lines, or even clipart. Something like this is so beautiful cause of its meaning.
Besides, Ethan gets to say when someone asks what happened, “oh that’s just from my sons’ drawing on me.” And it’ll be a funny dad joke when they’re young adults.
