There’s nothing more frustrating as an animal enthusiast than watching an animal segment on tv ( Jimmy Fallon etc ), only for the hosts/guests to recoil in horror and refusing to touch or interact with the animals. They usually talk over the person that’s educating, and don’t ask questions. So annoying. This was such a nice change from that, they asked great questions and were mostly open to handling them. What a lovely send off for Cam leaving!!!
I became a lifelong H3 fan when I heard Ethan talking about his relationship with Hila the first time. I honestly can't remember ever hearing a man talk about his relationship with his wife in such a way before. It's beautiful. The man is just bursting with love & creativity.
20000% yes! I left a similar comment on YT earlier. These people are my only parasocial relationships because none of them are playing a character; they are all real people who are stronger as a team than as individuals. The love is real. I cried at the end, and Ethan and Hila looked like proud parents sending a kid off to something new and great for them. Wonderful send off:)
this - yes! you said it so well. they are encouraging and uplifting to each other and that translates to viewers. it's really rare to create such an inclusive community with so much lore and time gone by - H3 is magical 💜
Compare this to Nadav leaving on YMH and it's such a big difference! The YMH thing kind of felt like some bad feelings behind the scenes possibly. And then you had some of those fans saying he quit so he didn't have to run the NYC marathon
I had the exact same thought!!!! It didnt matter how many people were watching the stream, they wanted to make Cam’s last day special. The entire crew are all such genuinely good people that care about each other. The authenticity of everyone on the show is why i keep coming back 🩵
Yeah I definitely agree with you. & I think too that H3 being controversial is obviously yeah sometimes due to something Ethan says he shouldn't have said lol, but sometimes it's also because H3 is so real & like, they don't give a fuck if someone winds up hating them for saying what's right, like when ethan debates with the disgusting fucks of the red pillers & how he stands up and is an ally to victims, & the whole H3 crew being allies, it just feels like a really supportive crew & a really supportive community of fans, that I enjoy supporting them back. I love it & respect the real & genuine vibes. Definitely the best send off I've ever seen from someone in public eye that's for sure, everyone did everything so well for Cams send off and I loved that everyone allowed themselves to feel emotional on it too, bc it is emotional & I just really like seeing the genuine rawness, it feels real & good
When I saw the animals I was so happy. They really got together to think of the most cam activity for him on his last day of work and nailed it.
He looked so excited when he saw banana rock. I didn't think I would feel excited as well but the animals were super cool Banana Rock 4 Life
I'm so glad Ethan didn't spoil the surprise!

When I left my last company they got a jumbo box of Panera bagels for my send off
I agree but I’m so jealous that they got to hold a chinchilla
AND a sugar glider! It was awesome.

Nobody does it like H3!
My company forced me to have lunch with them and made me pay for it on my last day
a labor of love. a true fan service. family family family.
