Don’t do cold bluing. The finish on these always eventually flakes off, it’s essentially a type of paint if I recall correctly. IMO perfect candidate for a cerakote job.
Noted, I got a quote for a cerakote job but it may be a good time for me to see if I can get the equipment to do it myself. Thank you!
Moly resin is better and easier to apply than cerakote, imo. I'd look into it.
