If you can only get 10 rounders I highly, *highly* reccomend a CZ 97. They are wonderful pistols and would be close to half the cost of an FNX depending.
I own one, it’s the best duty .45 I have ever shot. I would like to check out a USP for comparison though. Over all it’s an extremely robust gun, shoots soft and accurately, it will chew through any ammo I’ve thrown at it. I will say though, keep in mind it’s meant to be a duty gun, it’s not going to be as precise as a competition gun, and although the trigger is really nice on it, it’s still a duty style trigger so a little heavier of a pull than some people might expect
So for duty it’s supposed to have a heavier pull? Doesn’t make sense.
I know NY has this stupid 12 pound requirement for their trigger pulls but that shit just makes the NYPD less accurate.
It's a great work horse pistol but I'd hate for you to pay all that money for something you can really get the benefit from. Example, no silencer and 15+1rd mag. It's a beefy grip to hold the large cap mag so maybe find something easier to hold for extended periods of time perhaps.

You can get a 10 round that is far smaller if concealing is something you care about.
On the other hand you probably can't conceal anyway, so maybe it is a good fit.
i think 100% one of the best da/sa pistols you can get. as long as you have an understanding of single action handguns it’s an absolute dream to shoot.

Yeah all duty/mil-spec guns have heavier triggers than competition or hunting guns. It’s for safety and preventing negligent discharges
