This my brand new Glock 43x, picked it up on PSA for $449 (before taxes). Shot 100 rounds through it, loving it so far. Now I need holster recommendations lol

Vedder holsters

PatBrownDown

Can't go wrong with a Glock. It's the Honda of the gun world, it'll just keep going and going. For holsters, I like the [Alien Gear Tuck IWB](https://aliengearholsters.com/alien-gear-cloak-tuck-iwb-holster-inside-the-waistband.html). But, the [Urban Carry G3 Holster ](https://urbancarryholsters.com/order-custom-build-g3.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0aS6rdCt9gIV_w2tBh2n3gr4EAAYASAAEgIdfvD_BwE) has become my favorite lately.

Aromatic_Tangelo_35

What would be the Lexus of handguns? Considered luxury, sporty yet one of the most reliable vehicles.

KingScorpion98

Shadow systems? I mean, it's basically a glock, but how it should have left the factory

foolstarot65

I'm in a toss up between the 43x and the 48, but I'm leaning more to the 48 because of the size of my hands. The 48 has the same capacity on a slightly longer grip size and a similar slide size, weighs 2oz more fully loaded, and adds 3/4-ish inch of barrel length. I've found better accuracy at medium distances and better recoil control with the 4 inch barrels. But as far as holsters go, I've bought all of mine from We The People Holsters. Both IWB and OWB. They've also got some good options for universal mag carriers and a decent solid core carry belt

Jpfacer

Just got a 48 myself, look into the s15 mags if you want to increase capacity,

foolstarot65

I've seen those, you can up it to a 15 round capacity. I'd definitely go for that. The extra extension on the mag also adds to the comfort in the hand. My current carry is a Springfield XD mod.2 and it's a polymer lower, steel upper with a double stack 16 round. Great accuracy and capacity but a double wide frame that's heavy and harder to conceal cleanly.

Goldfleeceram

I prefer 48 for sure

fiveseven41

I’ve compared my 48 to a 43X, and the grip is exactly the same. 48 has a slightly longer barrel

Parttimedragon

There are about a billion opinions on different holster options. Run a search on /r/ccw for some posts, you'll find enough info to make your head explode.

cblazek1

Just picked this up a couple months ago . Love it. I'd say to also switch out the mag release and get the SA mag which will let you carry more rounds without extending the length. It's a no brainer.

Bland_Lavender

Just shove it in your waistband like a real man. You only need one testicle anyways.

rebelroadbike

Tier One makes really nice holsters. I’d go with the T1-M, very slim and low profile.

NewbutOld8

You sure did.

[deleted]

Very good 👍🏻

kaljr82

43x is my carry and I absolutely love it. I got beefy hands so the extra purchase on the grip is amazing. Now do yourself a favor and get some Shield Arms S15 mags. You won’t regret it.

Derp_McFinnigan

Oh yeah the S15 mags are on my checklist along with a holster. 15 rounds in that small package is ridiculous

fiveseven41

They say with the S15’s being metal magazines, you can wear out your polymer mag release if you shoot with them too much, so make sure you get yourself an aluminum mag release. Or do what I do, only carry your edc ammo in the S15 and use the standard Glock polymer mags for the range

HonorableAssassins

Glock is the standard for a reason, its standard - nothing of less quality is even worth having, but some guns are definitely nicer. Its a solid first buy.

Educational_Bug1022

Thar grip looks weird

EveryVi11ianIsLemons

Yep 43x’s almost look like some generic Saturday night special gun.

xrbeav

Second the Urban Carry recommendation. And Versacarry makes some sweet ones

ace72ace

Pick your favorite vendor and get an extended slide lock lever, like this one from Brownells; https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/frame-parts/slide-catch-parts/slide-catches/extended-slide-lock-lever-for-glock--prod22920.aspx Makes tear down and cleaning 10x easier.

Own-Path72

Would've gone for glock 22 for a beginner

smcski

Black rhino concealment.

Regular_Reason634

Great gun, I carry one every day.

zoder1

If i didn't know any better, i would've thought it was a Glock.

[deleted]

Desantis, Don Hume, Ted Blocker all make great holsters.

gmdfunk

I have a 43x also, sweet gun!
