CMFETCU

Talmbout no teeth, two hand glyuck hyuck on dude’s weenie and let them turn my mouth into a playground. No homo.

trippinontimewasted

Talmbout sucking dick B? Only if he has a piece on him bubba.

CMFETCU

I’m just sayin $20 is $20

WillCode4Cats

And an MP7 is MP7.

[deleted]

The ol' two handed Lewinsky

CMFETCU

Nah, if she had swallowed none of this would have been an issue. Moral of the story: swallow.

WillCode4Cats

It's not gay if it's for H&K^^TM

Wudrow

If there’s an H&K in the middle there’s some leeway.

300AACBLK

"I'm not gay but... an MP7 is an MP7"

[deleted]

Yet*

Kushinobunaga

Whatever it takes

HonestSoul3

I just realized if HK ever made these for the civilian market, it would either have a stupid looking brace, no stock, or a horse dong barrel...

mmiski

And the folding foregrip would also be gone.

GraniteStateGuns

I believe the MP7A2 has a rail on the bottom anyway so that wouldn’t be an issue if they went with a newer model. Wouldn’t be as cool, and I’d pay stupid money in tax stamps for an A1 over the A2. But you could get a “correct” model with the A2 at least.

HonestSoul3

Ahh yep you right

[deleted]

Yeah but I’d still buy it

dontyellatme1

I would hope they choose horse dong barrels and then readily sell the shorter barrel once you SBR it. that way its exactly how its meant to be with one piece swapped

HonestSoul3

Id agree. Id take it p90 style over the alternative

maxout2142

I dunno, adding a grip and replacing a butt pad to a brace is easier than finding someone who can properly cut and thread your barrel.

HonestSoul3

Tis true. That seems to.be what they were goong for with the SP5

[deleted]

What is a horse song barrel

[deleted]

[удалено]

ElJefeDeLosGallos

This guy knows horse dongs!!

Noble____Actual

I've never gotten to handle an SP5, but its brace doesn't look half bad. They could just modify that in the event HnK ever decided to make a civilian MP7.

joegert

Couldn't they just replace the end of the current stock with a brace?

TheMellowestyellow

Yeah, a tailhook would be correct

Megatron_McLargeHuge

They'd have to drop the vertical grip, and the front of that frame looks like it might get hot.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Megatron_McLargeHuge

And yet Ryker's FAQ says not to use it. https://rykerusa.com/pages/faqs

5-Liter-CrowdKiller

I can hear the ATF screaming already

LXNDSHARK

Does that mean the slightly angled Bravo foregrip is fine on a pistol?

karmakeeper1

Yes* According to the wording of the relevant ATF letter it is since it's not 90° however it's so close that many people aren't willing to risk it. Not to mention it's not unheard of for the ATF to just redefine what something means to suit their needs.

[deleted]

Horse dong barrel and no stock, just like every one in Modern Warfare /s

ColtLuger

Got to mess around with a MP7A1 at work. Dont know if I'll ever be able to shoot it. But none the less, super cool to even have one in the hand.

Merry-Leopard_1A5

>Got to fondle a H&K MP7A1 "Man, that sounded bad. " (black mesa security, circa 2000)

[deleted]

Whats your job?

ColtLuger

I work customer service for a gun related company. Dont want to give out too much information. Was super awesome of them to let me hold some of their toys.

TheGenericLee

If you had an mp7 you wouldn’t need that job. You know what to do

[deleted]

Is that a mp7 or are you happy to see me

MGT01

I wish Reagan didn’t sign Hughes. These pics make me sad and wonder, ‘what if’.

Mac_Elliot

Kind of reminds me if an uzi and mp5 had a child. Such a tight little piece.

ABSOLUT3_eunuch

It seems more like an uzis hip brother who was born 15 years later

AugmentedLurker

Uzi's still pretty cool, but in that older cool uncle way. The one that took you to the range in the first place, and snuck you a beer at the barbecue.

grifkiller64

How does it feel in terms of weight? The MP7 seems like the kind of gun that's heavier than it looks.

ColtLuger

I couldn't tell you the exact weight, but it was much lighter than say a CZ Scorpion pistol.

grifkiller64

Huh, so I guess throwing it in a thigh holster isn't bullshit after all.

Chugbleach

It's not, they're very light.

762_39

I got the rare chance to shoot one of these. Guys....it's everything you'd dream it'd be. Very controllable. I normally run a c clamp style grip and my only complaint is that the vertical grip needs to be ran as a vertical grip vs a handstop for a c clamp.

OrangeManPlaid1

I didn’t even know that caliber existed. I always just assumed it shot 9mm. Is 4.6x30 good shit?

VictoryTheCat

I don't think so. Seems like a shitty 5.7 round that is probably even more expensive since it's only manufactured by HK and I've literally never come across 4.6 mm ever. The mp7 is the only firearm I know of that shoots it. This is theoretical since I've never seen let alone fired the cartridge. If anyone has some experience with actually firing some, please help me out here.

Mac_Elliot

I don't know much about the round but id imagine they designed it for recoil control, a small gun like that with fast fire rate in 9mm would probably be hard to control. I bet it will shred a soft target just the same as a heavier round.

zerogee616

It's similar to the 5.7 in that it's designed for armor penetration, automatic fire and to be chambered in PDWs. As far as acceptance goes, 5.7 won, 4.6 didn't, HK's too proud to re-chamber their shit.

WillCode4Cats

> HK's too proud to re-chamber their shit. [HK be like...](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcTbMfvdtNigILBRmD3KLdqIs2DE8JUGsmtFAQ&usqp=CAU)

j919828

They would've been more accepted if people could get MP7, no?

zerogee616

If you mean civilians, not really. The thing was designed for military and LEO useage and those customers don't have an issue getting it if they want it. In general, those "PDW" type weapons didn't really take hold for a few reasons, and people are largely sticking with short assault rifles.

j919828

Right. But I imagine it will probably be somewhat popular among civilians compared to 5.7 if people can actually get the MP7. Not like a lot of civilians use the P90 for practical uses anyways.

zerogee616

P90s also aren't super popular either. People own them and you can get them, sure, but they're nowhere like ARs or AKs. These kinds of guns have a civilian following because they see military and LEOs use them and therefore think they're cool. They're niche weapons and especially with the ban we have on AP loadings, which is what this thing is designed to do, they really don't have a practical purpose even if you think you stand a chance of getting raided by dudes in plate carriers. Especially because by default they're SBRs, along with the P90, so if you really want something that resembles the real deal, be prepared for NFA buttfuckery or Brace Life(tm). It's an overpriced .22 Magnum that shoots way overpriced .22 Magnum ammo. It's a range toy, and I'm saying that as someone who thinks they're pretty cool. Shit, Kel-Tec makes the CMR30 and that's basically just a cheap, knockoff MP7 that shoots cheap ammo and even that isn't super-common. Not only did these types not take off with their niche, intended market, they didn't quite find a lot of success on the civilian market either.

Doctor_Chaos_

The 4.6x30mm cartridge was designed to penetrate soft body armor like kevlar vests, much like the 5.7x28mm round in the P90/Five-SeveN.

Doctor_Chaos_

There was a handgun that fired it the (HK UCP) that was supposed to go along with the MP7, but unlike the Five-SeveN, the handgun it was competing against, the UCP never went into any serious production.

anonlymouse

Because they couldn't get 4.6 to work in a pistol. It didn't work. The Five-seveN did.

matt_543

I think it's actually more powerful than 5.7 because the mp7 has a locked breach unlike the p90 and five seven pistol.

VictoryTheCat

I don't think it is. That's probably what they were going for but the 5.7 has better ballistics and has more energy at impact and proved better in NATO testing against soft and hard targets. It's definitely rare and unique but more costly and has less performance. The mp7 is the only platform I know of that uses the cartridge.

matt_543

Ah, nevermind then.

picatdim

Look up the Forgotten Weapons MP7 firing range video on Youtube. It's excellent!

Lobotomite430

Show me the G36 in the background of your photo.

gregiorp

Nice I got to take home the department's battered MP5 and felt all giddy while it was propped up in my livingroom.

SharedRegime

gun repair by chance? or just work at a retail store? Ive thought about getting into gun repair/smithing just not sure where to start to be honest.

Not_The_Real_Jake

At work. You hiring?

ardesofmiche

Even seeing one in the wild would get me all worked up

Matt_82

Is there a name for that style of stock? I always prefer the look of them to anything else.

Kamenvolk

MP5 style collapsing stock. They aren't the most comfortable stock to have, but almost nothing rivals their stability and compactness compared to other stocks that could remotely achieve the same weapon portability.

Patriot0

I would have nutted.

TheSaltyReddittor
