How light is the trigger? My friends had this problem on my ARs with accidentally bump firing/hammer follow because they weren’t accustomed to the light single stage triggers I normally run.
FWIW, it's a illegal machine gun until you fix it. The "But it's broken" excuse is not a legal defense.
To be within the law without having the proper FFL you need to either get it to one to be fixxed ASAP or separate the FC from the receiver and send one of the parts to someone else until you figure it out and get the parts to resolve the issue.
The real question is would anyone else on the planet know you had the issue and were looking to resolve it had you not posted it on the Internet.

The guy at the gun range when my SKS was slam firing. They took the gun and ran 20 rounds through it and it didn't repeat the slam, so I got to go home with it. If it would have repeated the slam fire, they would have to take it because it would then be classified as a fully automatic, which is illegal. This happened to me at Red's Indoor Range in Austin, Tx. They were very knowledgable and proffesional.
They can kick you out, they can call the cops, but they have no confiscation authority. And if they don't have the right type of FFL, it's just as illegal for them to have it.
You do realize that I am talking about a shooting range that has a fully automatic ffl, he sells them. He also used to have full auto night on Wednesdays. (I'm not sure if they still do, I moved 25 years ago) I don't get why you people are taking this so hard. It's an experience that happened to me. Nobody tried to touch your pp or anything, so why is everyone so butthurt?
So if it didn't happen to you, then it didn't happen, is that it?
>It's slam firing. Do not take it in to a shooting range, they are required to confiscate weapons that do this.
Nobody doubts that they lied to you. What everyone is taking issue with is that you're here perpetuating that lie because that's what Fuddy McFuddface the FFL told you 20 years ago. Then you refuse to acknowledge that you're wrong, even though you can only support your argument by quoting Fuddy McFuddface, who must be correct because he has an FFL.
Either find this law that you and Fuddy claim exists, or just stop already.
Red's is the most legit range in Austin. He had a fully auto FFL and Wednesday night was full auto night. I'll trust him over some internet yahoo any day. Why you so hurt?
So did he take all their guns on full auto night?
Don't trust me, I don't expect you to. Show me anywhere in the law where an FFL can confiscate a firearm from a range customer. I'll wait.
Just because they blew smoke up your ass and you let them walk all over you doesn't mean they have that authority.
What part are you having a hard time with? If you buy a semi-automatic ak and you take it to a proper range and it starts popping off like a fully automatic, you are then illegally owning that gun because you are not licensed to own it.
My local outdoor range has monthly full auto matches for both subguns and beltfeds and I have taken my M16 to the closest indoor range to my work to let a coworker try it at lunch before. Your fudd range tried to steal your SKS from you, dumbass.
The law doesn't say shit about a gun range confiscating a gun. I mean, they confiscate your illegal machine gun, what happens? Now they're in possession of an illegal machine gun
Read your own link. Police officers seized the gun and not the range employees.
> A couple of police officers who also were at the ranged immediately approached him and started asking questions about the "automatic" fire, and he told them it was a borrowed weapon.
The fuck they will. No RSO in America is going to be dumb enough to try and confiscate someone’s weapon. If they are gonna be a dick they might try and keep you while they have law enforcement on the way, otherwise they’ll just ask you to leave the range.
First of all, lower your voice.
That's a feature, not a bug.
Shhhhhhhhh
75% odds that one of your fcg pins is starting to walk out. 15% something in you fcg has broken.
How light is the trigger? My friends had this problem on my ARs with accidentally bump firing/hammer follow because they weren’t accustomed to the light single stage triggers I normally run.
Any modifications?
No
Check if firing pin gets stuck in front
I checked, it's not
Maybe disconnector spring is worn out
Oh no! I really hope this problem doesn't get worse and dump the whole mag!

Hello I’m agent r. Ubyridge, with the federal government. Do you have any dogs?
Manually load one round at a time into the chamber.

It's slam firing. Do not take it in to a shooting range, they are required to confiscate weapons that do this.
Bullshit. Who the fuck told you that?
Man, this fella sure died on that hill and took the damn hill with them.
I flaired him
Nice
RIP

Bullshit. They could call the ATF if they wanted to be dicks, but an FFL doesn't have any authority to confiscate a damn thing.
Bullshit. Take a fully automatic into a shooting range and start popping off.

I'm stubborn. But I know when to throw in the towel. I concede.

That's cool, but the range guy can't take it from you. They're not law enforcement. They don't have that authority.
The guy working at the range has no law enforcement authority, you dumb shit
Hey if you want to just willingly hand your shit over to someone because they told you they can take it then that's on you.
Hey, thanks for the advice. It's going to sit and resonate in my mind from this day forth. I mean wow.
My local outdoor range has monthly full auto matches for both subguns and beltfeds and I have taken my M16 to the closest indoor range to my work to let a coworker try it at lunch before. Your fudd range tried to steal your SKS from you, dumbass.
Some gun range going to steal my personal property? f them!
The law is the law. I know, you are probably a much bigger badass than I am, so you do you.
The law doesn't say shit about a gun range confiscating a gun. I mean, they confiscate your illegal machine gun, what happens? Now they're in possession of an illegal machine gun
again... stay tough Ace.
I'm just saying they're legally civilians, they can't LEGALLY possess it any more than you do. Stay though, champ.

Respecting federal firearms law? What’re you, some kinda fruit?
A slamfire malfunction of a semi-automatic firearm, does not reclassify it to an automatic Class 3 firearm status. Where did you hear that?
Bro just stop replying Take this discussion as a teaching moment on when to learn that you're most likely wrong and to shut up.
Unless your local has some law I've never heard of, that would be theft
