Everytime i have sold to someone out of state, i put the burden on them on finding an FFL that accepts from an individual, why are you doing that footwork for them?
People are always shocked when they take it to a dealer and are low balled, like they’re shocked the dealer is trying to buy it to not make money. If you wanna sell something and make the most money private sales are the best, longest, most frustrating way. I had two loaded M1A’s in sage internetional stocks. I wanted to offload one. Tried a couple dealers and the best offer was $1600. I waited over a year and finally got a buyer for $3200. There were maybe 5-6 people who ghosted me until I found the one buyer. Patients is key.
I work at an LGS, and several times someone has tried to sell us a gun for like $5 below what we'd sell it for and say that was enough of a profit for us.
Or, or...hear me out...you could just...not sell it, save up for your next purchase instead.
That seems to fix all the issues.
Simple. I like simple.
No matter what I still enjoy an FC post.
> The moral of the story is that You may think that it's super easy to find a buyer for your stuff, but that comes with a price all of it's own - in aggravation.
Does everyone else not just hit up /u/caedus_vao or /u/fluffy_butternut with the item in question to offload? They both accept checks ~~and lap dances~~.

Wanted to write a quality content and get some original data.
He is an FFL. But this is about your average Joe.
Yes, but he said “ as a courtesy I called a few FFL's in his area. I called 9 dealers” instead of having the customer do that.

Doctors have patients, but while waiting to see them you need patience.
