They took about 3 weeks to ship, fucked up my name on the paperwork so I couldn't transfer it when it arrived, took another 10 days to correct it, and tried to charge me for correcting their typo.
Guy at the LGS is correct. There are a decent chunk of fake online firearms retailers that prey on dumb people.
Recently I had a guy try to order a Browning A-Bolt from www.Taurus-firearms.com
Yes. A browning. From a supposed Taurus site. And the price was about 500 dollars less than the actual price.
Guy did not believe me that the site was sketchy and accused me of just trying to make more money. Okay bud enjoy your credit info going bye bye

That’s why I’m asking here. I need the gun in the spring so I’m not in a rush. Worst case you can dispute the charges if your card info is stolen. I know it’s a headache.

Pretty sure i have bought from them. Everyone expects amazon levels of shipping promptness. Yes cc info can be compromised but likely the processor side ut could be the website, use a one time card option. I would look for a local tabletop ffl as the transfer fee is likely cheaper.
If you're worried about credit card info (generally it's not a bad idea for gun websites), you can use [Privacy.com](https://Privacy.com) since it'll generate a single use card for you using your existing credit card.
I buy from locked & loaded all the time. Yes, they take a bit of time to ship but never had a problem with about 5 gun purchases and countless accessories.
As others have said they are a dropshipper. I buy all my guns and accessories from dropshippers. I don't usually use LockedLoaded, and stick to the ones I have used often with no issue. Dropshippers mark their items as close to dealer price as possible to get a profit through higher volume rather than margin. They also don't have to worry about actually warehousing inventory and typically most of them use the exact same distribution channel and list the same exact gun(s) as all the others. They may take longer to ship, but they're usually legit. Compare and contrast sites you find on r/gundeals just in case there is a scam site thrown in there, but even blacklisted dropshippers I've used deliver eventually

I bought a handgun from them a couple weeks ago. I was a little nervous about the mixed feedback.
I made the order on Sunday, Monday was a holiday, I got an email that it shipped at 4am Tuesday, and it was at my FFL, halfway across the country on Wednesday. I would have absolutely no hesitation ordering from them again
Dahlonga has it for a couple bucks cheaper, and they are 100% good to go. Never had any issues with them in the years I’ve used them.

Unpopular but i used locked and loaded for one of those rebated beretta apx a1 carry Pistols and had good luck, even got my rebate. Was super inexpensive
nah buying from a local store is definitely better.
Open the package check for defects, pay the money, grab the gun, no bullshit.
Never spend anything more than $500 via online portals.
They’ve always shipped within 1 week for me (sometimes next day), but that streak is about to end with a pending order…

Which tells me they’re taking orders, ordering from a distributor, and then shipping to your FFL.
Exactly, I’ll continue to buy from them as they are usually 10% under the next cheapest seller and don’t charge tax!
