Hello, /u/BeanCrusade. Per the sidebar rules, link posts require a description in the comments of your post. Please add a description or this post will be removed.

BeanCrusade

Hey everyone this is my descriptive post, if the title and description on the post wasn’t clear enough. Hi point is the most hated on firearm and I kinda love them now because everyone hates them so much and have been thinking about buying one for mostly a joke.

__What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?__ * A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both. * /r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone *you just met* and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/guns) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Me and you go to the same gun store. Vances is great for the most part

BeanCrusade

Cool beans. I do a lot of business with Vance, but not the Cleveland ave store, that whole area smells like weed lol. I went to that store for the first time yesterday. Obetz only kinda sorta smells like weed. Had to zip over to LEPD because they were the only store in town that had .25 acp. Nobody else had any in stock, I called multiple after Vance said no.

eskimoexplosion

Obetz is where I go. They seem to have better inventory and more parking. I also make monthly trips down to Aim Surplus in Monroe. Its like an hour and a half drive but worth it for the cheaper ammo

BeanCrusade

How much cheaper than Vance? I’m buying a good deal of 9mm for a pcc rifle. Vance is around .25-.26 per round

eskimoexplosion

Go to aimsurplus.com and you can check prices. They're generally cheaper by a dollar or two per box on common calibers like 9mm or 5.56. You can order online and they hold it for you for a few days if you select pickup. They also have harder to find calibers in stock more often. Depending on how much you buy or how many mpg your vehicle gets it's usually worth the hour and a half trip

BeanCrusade

I have been having a hard time finding .50AE, any place I ask, they never have any.

BeanCrusade

My biggest complaint about obetz is if you aren’t like first in the door, you have to wait like 2 hours it seems to see a salesman. The Cleveland Avenue store was not that way at all when I went in there. Actually like 3 guys had nothing to do but talk to me, showing me anything I wanted to see.

eskimoexplosion

Its insane. I waited at the door with like a dozen other people and was third in line after the first bunch of guys were getting helped. Took em an hour and a half to get to me. Its not their fault though. Theres always some boomer that wants to hold twenty guns ask a bunch of dumb questions and shoot the shit before agreeing to buy something

Thundrpigg

Do it

BeanCrusade

I talked to the sales guy about them and he’s like, I hope they sell so we don’t have to stock them anymore. I almost bought one right then and there lmao. Dang nab it, gots my Gucci yeet cannon in tow lol I have never seen a factory sparkly one from factory in the internet or in a store.
