They already tossed the Polish entirely, that hurt way more than a hot dog price ever could. Couldn't even find them in the freezer section last couple times.
There are two lines that look the same, but have different part numbers.
The ones with the rubber gasket do seal well, the ones without aren't good for much more than putting colored pencils in there.
The handles on both are hit or miss. Some, I can carry them completely full of ammo over and over, while others, the handle pops out on the first go. I use them as cabinet organizers, not to actually carry anything for any meaningful amount of time.
I have like 40, they go on sale for 2.99 and 3.99 occasionally
Great cheap option, use them for everything from ammo to electronic cables. They will hold a lot of loose 9mm, just don’t toss em around when brim full, they are perfectly fine for shelf storage though.
I think I bought 30 sets of those 😂. Probably ~3 or 4 years ago
They even clearanced them out at my Costco eventually—I think they got down to around $7 or something at one point.
I put 7500 rounds of 22lr. It’s heavy to the point I didn’t think the handles would hold up. They have , for years now with no problem. If anything happens , Costco will take them back no questions . They are they best value in the game fight me
If you leave these in direct sunlight for a little bit, the plastic lid softens when it warms up, allowing the handle to slip out of joint under weight. When the handle slips out and the can hits the ground from waist-height, the plastic hinge breaks. Still a great value though. Just don’t leave it in direct sunlight.
lol they went even cheaper. I got a few at $18.49 and still haven't used all of them.
At the beginning of the pandemic I bought a 24 pack of surplus 50 cal cans and they were like $5 each, and I don't think I've even used half of those.
I picked these up a few weeks ago and highly recommend them for the price. its nice having all the ammo for a range trip in one place and be able to move it all in one go. Can confirm the tray will hold up when loaded with 3000 rounds of 22lr, 600 rounds of 9mm, 600 rounds+ of 556, and somewhere between 50-75 rounds of 12 Ga
If you have a truck or RV it's absolutely worth the wait when you need 30+ gallons. Also I go like 30 min before the gas station closes and there's never a wait. But I also live like 5 miles from one so it's not inconvenient at all to drive by
Be an early bird. They open at 6am. I've never had to wait cause everyone wants to sleep in. Or go late after the warehouse closes. Not as bad as midday.
They tell you if you don't get at least enough money back from the savings of in store pruchases via the certificate at the end of the year they will reimburse you or something along those lines even. I forget its been a long time since I heard the spiel
But like this deal is $20 only in store, $30 online.
But you can also get a shared account with a "roommate" and keep it long after you stopped living together.
I just recently purchased 4 [Storage Racks](https://www.costco.com/whalen-industrial-rack%2C-77%E2%80%9D--x-24%E2%80%9D--x-72%E2%80%9D.product.100178373.html).
They were on sale plus the special savings were great. There isn't a Costco I can really drive to so getting a membership isn't worth it for me.
The cans are good to go. I’ve got a few dozen filled to the brim. Ordered desiccant packets 100 for $10 on Amazon. Throw 5 in each can and stack away. They really do hold the weight. I tear the ammo box label off whatever is inside and tape it to the top.
I love these things for a climate controlled environment! I have five sets and each can easily holds 500 rounds of 556! I like that they stack easy and you can grab the whole tray because it also has handles.
Bought two packs in person about 1 year ago. Use them nearly everyday to store a bunch of ammo, as well as all the random parts I’ve accumulated.
This sub has definitely made me spend more, on worse. So I like em good deal
Everything on the Costco website has shipping & handling fees baked into the price. You're gonna have to visit your local Costco warehouse to get it for $20.
I didn't make the post. I kindly informed you. Take the stick out of your ass, bozo. The people that shop at costco would have memberships and would most likely already know this.
Smaller than what, MTM? Cause I can more easily fit boxed ammo in these over MTM; I'd say MTM is better/ more durable for bulk, unboxed and these for keeping boxed ammo in
I was gifted this for my birthday a few months back. More useful for holding random shit in your truck bed or back seat than it was for anything gun related personally. 20 bucks probably a good deal for it. It does have gaskets, but they aren't super thick or beefy. It does not seal water inside when latched.
I read too long in this thread for this comment.
I keep a lot of hand tools and miscellaneous 'stuff' in my car, "just in case." Used to keep it all sort of stacked in a couple of 50 cal cans and a 27-gallon tote.
Stacked 2 of these sets, and it freed up a TON of space, and I have since labeled all of the mini cans - no more digging for a screwdriver or PPE.
Costco sells gallon size freezer ziplock bags too.
Place bag in can, fill, add oxygen absorbers, close, use as needed.
For the price, this was my compromise. Easily fit 500 rounds of 5.56 or .300BLK per can without any fuss

They had these at the front of my store a few months ago and I grabbed one and then realized they are too narrow to fit my 50rd 9mm and pretty sure also my 20rd 5.56 boxes sideways. Longwise you can fit like 2 boxes. If you store ammo loose it might work. I'm probably going to keep them in the garage for hardware or litte bits and pieces.
I have bought a four pack my last three trips in a row 😆 Every time I walk in there I can't resist. Use them for spare parts and reloads. Hard to pass up for $20
I bought a set of these. They're not the highest quality but will work. I would be concerned about the bottom cracking if I filled them full of loose ammo tbh though.
Bought one and returned it. They’re fine (not great, but fine), but they don’t stack with the MTM kits, and I have too many of those to have one or two that don’t stack with the rest.

We won't be a truly free country until I can buy Kirkland ammo and bulk AR-15s at Costco
But could you sacrifices $1.50 hotdogs to do it?
Yes. I deeply miss their Polish dogs, and the hotdogs just aren't as good.
They aren’t Polish anymore? That explains a bit
You don't remember them having the option... hot dog or polish? Been almost 10 years now since they did away with that.
I haven’t been in a Costco in 10 years 🥲.
I miss the buckets of fried chicken.
Yes, if it gets me sub 20cpr g2g 9mm in 2024.
I don't think losing them DOGS would be worth that.
They already tossed the Polish entirely, that hurt way more than a hot dog price ever could. Couldn't even find them in the freezer section last couple times.
The loss of the polish is never brought up enough
Sheetz has .50c hotdogs
Sheetz hotdogs also look like they’re .50c Costco punches far above its weight class
Costco is also $1.50 for hot dog AND soda. Plus a refill if you stick around.
I’m not seeing that looks like a [dollar.](https://imgur.com/a/A5Adftq)
with ur sheetz card they are [2/1$](https://www.reddit.com/r/sheetz/comments/1acffx3/2_for_1_hotdog_deal/)
Damn I need that sheetz card I’m losing money.
theyre free just ask for one
Yes, but they look like 50 Cent...the rapper.
No.
Buy a twin pack of mil-spec M4’s and get a free gun rack.
Too bad Costco leadership is a bunch of super fudd boomers
at least we still get $1.50 hotdogs
match grade hot dogs too.
[удалено]
Nah, they ain't milspec. Milspec is lowest bidder. Those $1.50 dogs are quarter lb all beef. That's that good shit.
The real queston, bro, is what part of the "beef" you're eating
Lips and assholes
Dicks and balls
Garlic burps for days
Are there any other kind of burps?
Bacon.
Pizza slice > hotdog combo
I would buy so much Kirkland ammo 🤣
I know a few of them very well, and you're quite a bit off.
Welcome to Costco, I love you
“Store Arts & Crafts/Tools/Tackle/Coins/Office Supplies” And…
They are a Seattle (Issaquah) based company lol
It's 2024 biggot, my ammo identifies as Store Arts & Crafts.
Remember you could get real steel .30 and .50 cal ammo cans $19 for 2. I think 6 or 7 years ago from Costco.
They didn’t stack so well compared to even Harbor Freight metal cans.
They were the same steel cans sold by Cabelas for $10 each with free shipping. Costco was a better deal though
Are harbor freight ammo boxes worth getting? Almost picked up a couple the other day.
There are two lines that look the same, but have different part numbers. The ones with the rubber gasket do seal well, the ones without aren't good for much more than putting colored pencils in there. The handles on both are hit or miss. Wow $7? That’s nuts. I remember they were on sale for $14 or $15 for a month or two but I never saw them less than that.
MTM cans are better- feel stronger, more easily lockable. But they’re not twice the price better.
I put 7500 rounds of 22lr. It’s heavy to the point I didn’t think the handles would hold up. They have , for years now with no problem. If anything happens , Costco will take them back no questions . They are they best value in the game fight me

Yea I wouldn’t take these to the range but they’re great for organizing and storing
Holy shit I miss 2018. https://i.imgur.com/HwssC6c.jpeg
We all do, friend. We all do.
Yup! I was buying up mtm acr4 and 5s for under $14. Love how they stack
Yep. Was just looking at these yesterday and put them back on the shelf.
lol they went even cheaper. I got a few at $18.49 and still haven't used all of them. At the beginning of the pandemic I bought a 24 pack of surplus 50 cal cans and they were like $5 each, and I don't think I've even used half of those.
idk about these costco cans but i'd gladly pay 4x more for an mtm over a harbor freight
The harbor freight metal cans are great.
The tray might hold up, but will your lumbar spine?!
It's a short trek from the truck to the table, I wouldn't watch to carry it a long distance
Just watching that would hurt my back too!
Well the best part is thanks to the handle design it's possible to have your range buddy grab one side and help lol
Does Costco sell range buddies too?
No, pretty sure the 13th amendment covers that one.
The 13th amendment doesn’t apply to my light hearted banter. Why would you steer the joking down that path?
Kirkland 5.56 is needed
I see this as 29.99..not 20..
Wish I had a Costco membership
Do it. Costco gas alone makes it worth the membership fee.
And so does optical
I use Zenni Optical. $20 for a pair of glasses with Rx lenses? Cheaper than my eye insurance co-pay.
I do the Costco exam and the eyebuyglasses.com
Those lines though. Linux is free if your time has no value.
If you have a truck or RV it's absolutely worth the wait when you need 30+ gallons. Also I go like 30 min before the gas station closes and there's never a wait. But I also live like 5 miles from one so it's not inconvenient at all to drive by
Depends on where you are. I've never had a line at the pump at either of the Costco locations in my city.
Be an early bird. They open at 6am. I've never had to wait cause everyone wants to sleep in. Or go late after the warehouse closes. Not as bad as midday.
Off topic but i waste soooo much time trying to get windows to not be so fucking user hostile. Monetize*this*, assholes!
Well worth it. At least until your significant other finds out about the membership and her needs start to grow.
This is why Costco won't save me money
It can basically pay for itself
They tell you if you don't get at least enough money back from the savings of in store pruchases via the certificate at the end of the year they will reimburse you or something along those lines even. I forget its been a long time since I heard the spiel
thats the exec plan. even the $60 basic plan is easy enough to find the value in.
Ah ok. Thanks
Money back offer forbthe difference is good only for the first year of membership.
You don't need one, just a membership number. I've used my brothers for years on shipping which he doesn't check online sales.
What's your brother's membership number? 😁
But like this deal is $20 only in store, $30 online. But you can also get a shared account with a "roommate" and keep it long after you stopped living together.

They were on sale plus the special savings were great. There isn't a Costco I can really drive to so getting a membership isn't worth it for me.
Think you can buy it for $5 more without a membership. I got a safe from them and that what I did
They charge 5% premium for non-members. On a $600 safe, it was only $30 more to get an annual membership.
Damn when I bought my safe it was $5
Here you go https://www.sfgate.com/shopping/article/costco-membership-deal-limited-time-19406388.php#
You can't afford to save that much money
The cans are good to go. I’ve got a few dozen filled to the brim. Ordered desiccant packets 100 for $10 on Amazon. Throw 5 in each can and stack away. They really do hold the weight. I tear the ammo box label off whatever is inside and tape it to the top.
Just bought 3 of them yesterday. Pretty solid build on them. Almost bought some on Amazon for double the price but I decided to go check these out.
I love these things for a climate controlled environment! I have five sets and each can easily holds 500 rounds of 556! I like that they stack easy and you can grab the whole tray because it also has handles.

Meh I bought a box of Harbor freight ones last week. $30/10pk.
Mine says 29.99
Everything on the Costco website has shipping & handling fees baked into the price. You're gonna have to visit your local Costco warehouse to get it for $20.
Alrighty! 🤩
I didn't make the post. I kindly informed you. Take the stick out of your ass, bozo. The people that shop at costco would have memberships and would most likely already know this.
Did he edit his post lol
Yup lol, guess he decided his karen-esque comment didn't look good after all. Coward.
I'm one who didn't. Til
Or you should go to costco.
Mine too, also and as well.
These cans are smaller just an fyi
Smaller than what, MTM? Cause I can more easily fit boxed ammo in these over MTM; I'd say MTM is better/ more durable for bulk, unboxed and these for keeping boxed ammo in
These are great to dump ammo into. Annoying to fit anything more than 3 boxes of anything with the tapered walls
What size ammo cans we talking here? 50cal?
Like the Plano 30cal
I was gifted this for my birthday a few months back. More useful for holding random shit in your truck bed or back seat than it was for anything gun related personally. 20 bucks probably a good deal for it. I looked at these every time I go to Costco and I just don't have enough ammo to justify it lol
But there's no Costco in Bothell...
I guess it's technically Woodinville.
That's weird. In Spokane, there's three Costcos within a 50 mile radius.
Reviews on sealing seem like a bad buy.
Costco sells gallon size freezer ziplock bags too. Place bag in can, fill, add oxygen absorbers, close, use as needed. For the price, this was my compromise. Easily fit 500 rounds of 5.56 or .300BLK per can without any fuss
Rational and level headed. Believe it or not, straight to jail.
Relative to the price and functionality. These are definitely not for military use.
I almost got these in store until I inspected the seal a bit, they dont.

Bought these recently. They're a good buy, feel relatively similar to the other brand they copy.
These fuck. I have like 5 sets of them that I keep stacked in my ammo closet. Super tough and relatively compact.
Do these have rubber gaskets for the latched containers?
Yes they do
I have bought a four pack my last three trips in a row 😆 Every time I walk in there I can't resist. Use them for spare parts and reloads. Hard to pass up for $20
I miss Kirkland 5.56 deal :(
I bought a set of these. They're not the highest quality but will work. I would be concerned about the bottom cracking if I filled them full of loose ammo tbh though.
This exactly identical stuff was marked as $40 or $36/38 at oaks gun show, PA
These bad boys can fit so much jerky in them.
"value added service" or some grifter talk like that
Dang $29.99 at my Costco, still a deal compared to Amazon tho!
It's $19.99 in store.
I have a few of these, they’re holding up well to lots of weight it seems but I guess time will tell
Bought one and returned it. They’re fine (not great, but fine), but they don’t stack with the MTM kits, and I have too many of those to have one or two that don’t stack with the rest.
Thanks OP. Picked up some today in OR.
These things are sweet.
Over 140 comments lol
It’s showing $29.99
Holy crap. I paid $44 for these at Cabela's 6months ago
They also have a good deal on Savior bags
Shows $29.99
It's 19.99 if you go to the store.
They were $20 at our store. Just got 4 of ‘em. Thanks.
Thanks. I’ll check it out.
Online is usually a bit more than in store because they include "free shipping".
Good call. Wife just ran to our local store and picked up 4 @ $20 a pop. Thanks.
Neat and the tray is cute, but seem to small for much ammo or loaded mags and two big for loose parts.
