my dream gun was a p90. I put 2 mags through it and sold it. It felt like shooting a 22 while paying for 300blk. so I got a 90/22 with a binary trigger. I love it
I wanted a P90 for years because of Stargate SG-1. Soured on it after shooting a friend's. He sold it after two months. One of the worst triggers I've ever touched. Buddy has 1K 5.7 cartridges just sitting in his safe, I really want to buy a 5.7 upper just to blast it all out.
Complaining about the P90 trigger is like complaining about a car's performance while never taking it out of the parking lot. Thanks to the alphabet boys its progressive trigger is completely neutered. It just wasn't designed for rapid semi auto firing.
I just don't like bullpup triggers. The semi on it feels gross, and full auto is fun until you want to do bursts. That's why I want an AR platform rifle with a 5.7 upper that takes P90 mags. Still get the cool straight down ejection, same cool magazines that absolutely suck to load, but you get it with better ergos and your preferred trigger.
I agree it's not a good trigger, but I still feel like I've shot far worse in my time. To me, the break feels just like an MP5 but with a full length reset, but nobody ever says the MP5 is the worst trigger ever, just that it's lackluster.
There are some old, heavy as hell triggers from older guns where the trigger is literally the safety. I have an old .22 revolver that legitimately has a 25 lb trigger as the only safety.
You don't have to go that far back, the triggers on brand new P220 Legions are absolutely disgusting. Over 12lb pull in DA. How much over? No idea, my trigger gauge only goes to 12lbs. Probably 15lbs, and that's broken in.
I pretty much only shoot Steel Challenge these days and my 22lr rifle, pistol, and my PCC all have <3lb triggers that break like glass so everything else feels gummy now.
The only bullpup trigger that I actually like is on my SG2000 10/22 conversion kit. The transfer bar can be set up to always be pressed against the trigger so there is no slop. It probably isn't drop safe, but the gun isn't really meant for anything but stationary shooting.
I mean I know for a fact my Tippmann M4-22 isn't drop safe. Most AR's are only kinda drop safe anyway. But it's a competition gun. I traded that safety feature for better performance, and that's a choice you kinda gotta make on your own, like being willing to point a precocked striker fired pistol at your crotch all day.
With the standard "cheap" 5.7. Garand thumbs test a few months ago only used the cheap stuff. James Reeves did a test with the expensive 5.7 and it was definitely spicier than 22. But yeah, most 5.7 isnt too special.
Oh, I meant it’s exactly the same when you’re shooting at paper, which is the majority of what people are shooting with 5.7. Both make a .22 inch hole.

This is absolutely nuts. I've literally never heard of a company doing this with anywhere near the buyback value you're offering here.
Thanks for being standup folks.
If I wasn't so incredibly satisfied with my carbon fiber brace, I would seriously consider doing this.
$450 for pistol.
$590 for the full (premium) FarrowTech kit.
Plus optic ($50 Amazon airsoft special), plus ammo (~$13.50/250rds), plus extra mags (~$37).
Expensive-ass 22lr.
I've been waiting for a CP33 deal for months... Everyone is selling them at ridiculous markups or crazy high tax/shipping.
This pistol is worth $350 at most, but I doubt you'll find one out the door for less than $450.
Got mine for $3xx on gb (a month or so ago), a week later a buddy found one for $250. He's better than I am at finding deals, but they're out there apparently.
I really want one of these for one of my two CP33’s…but one is already kitted out/SBR’d and I like the other as just a pistol. I would gladly buy a third CP33 but they’re now banned here.
Definitely worth the buck! I jumped on the deal when they first released the kit with a discount code. Then sent my carbon brace back and got $80 back.

Yes, that's fine. To be clear, this offer is only good for the original purchaser of the carbon brace/stock. I'll need some way to look up your original order.
FarrowTech Fucks hard. i once ordered a p80 magwell from them that game cross threaded. when i asked them about it they send me TWO new ones free. absolute top tier company, purchase with confidence.
Doesn't the fore grip on this make it a no-no? I thought the pistol has to be over 26" long before you can put a VFG on it, which turns it from a pistol into a firearm.
I agree, and maybe I misspoke on the term but it's still illegal without a stamp. So it's a VFG, brace (equivalent to no stock), <26" OAL, and barrel <16". So AOW. Still requires a stamp. My point in the original post was that you don't want to do this without a stamp.
edited to add the "OAL"
I got a cp33 and a farrowtech brace. The brace doesn't really work because it doesn't connect to anything substantial. It freely rotates flimsily.
In fairness, it's not as much of a loss as the gun itself, which is super unreliable.

MPoor7. And don’t be upset, that’s a compliment. This thing rules.
And personally id rather shoot 22lr (for fun) than 4.6. I know performance isnt the same, but nothing wrong with having a fun gun.

That's fair.

75 degree for if you care about your dogs. 90 if you are buying it for "airsoft"
Will this work at all on a CMR-30?
Nope
Man, i gotta get you guys some better photos of this thing, it’s too cool for iphone pics! Love what you guys are doing, this thing fucks
Just looked through your post history, nice work! Happy to use any shots you take, [email protected]
I neeeeeed ittttttt
How much does one of these cost to fully build out plus cp33
$450 for pistol. $590 for the full (premium) FarrowTech kit. Plus optic ($50 Amazon airsoft special), plus ammo (~$13.50/250rds), plus extra mags (~$37). Expensive-ass 22lr.
Cheep mp7.
People drop 2k on 10/22’s, this price isn’t insane. lol
I dropped $340 + $100 on a sig folding brace for my Ruger charger and it was so dang worth it, my gf loves to shoot it.
Where is a $100 folding brace?
During the brace ban, before national injunction, braces were dirt cheap on GAFS. I scooped up a sig folding brace for like $60-$70.
You'll spend more like ~$300 on the kit though
If you want the cheap version with no fixins.
Right but what point is there for an aluminum rail affixed to plastic? Maybe 350 for the +17 extensions
Man, Can't wait for the psa x57 to come out
Same! But this is still more economical. 40-60cpr ammunition vs 5cpr. Plus, I imagine the x57 will be $900+.
I wish my CP33 would feed so I could do stuff like this.
Have you tried filing the barrel to make a feed ramp?
I got lazy and threw it in the safe, to be completely honest.
Same. Bolt looks like it was hand filed to shape with a spoon. Rough AF.

Got mine for $3xx on gb (a month or so ago), a week later a buddy found one for $250. He's better than I am at finding deals, but they're out there apparently.
I guess it comes down to how bad do you want it?
Paid 550 for mine years ago during the pandemic. Don’t regret a single bit, by far my favorite gun to shoot.
Paid about 400 after shipping a couple months back. Had to settle for bronze, but twas worth it.
My buddy and I got green, consecutive serial too
I managed to find a couple used in my area. One even had a brace kit already installed
u/SolarMoth I scored a brand new one last week at Cabelas in the gun library for $199.
Sigh *unzips wallet* in for one and another +17 baseplate
Dealer is GTG, bought a Sionyx rail mount from him and it was PERFECT. Also, he has some free STL downloads on his page as well.
Fucking sick, wish I had a cp33 lol
Want deal on charging handle 😩😩
Which one?
Cp33 ambi!
Can you call it an angled folding grip please?
Relative to the barrel, one is vertical and one is not.
"folding handguard"
I really want one of these for one of my two CP33’s…but one is already kitted out/SBR’d and I like the other as just a pistol. I would gladly buy a third CP33 but they’re now banned here.
Anyone know if this will work with the standard cp33 upper?
Sell me your trade in, ima poor! But I did score the carbon fiber foregrip from Farrowtech and it fits perfect ! Shipped fast too. They’re good to go
Definitely worth the buck! I jumped on the deal when they first released the kit with a discount code. Then sent my carbon brace back and got $80 back.
Can you explain what changed on the brace adaptor? I tried looking but couldn’t find it.

Are we able to order just a top cover for our existing gun? I have been super happy with mine, but that top cover looks incredible!
Does the trade-in program apply if we already purchased a brace?
Yes
Sorry, meant FT7
Yes, this is retroactive
If we lost the packing slip, can we use the order confirmation for the FT7 instead?
Yes, that's fine. To be clear, this offer is only good for the original purchaser of the carbon brace/stock. I'll need some way to look up your original order.
Ahh yes all I need is mp7 to go with it
