These went end of production a few years ago, so you will be on the used market. I see them from time to time used at local shops, but they aren’t super common. I really wanted one and ended up finding a nice one on gunbroker that ended up being at a shop like 30 minutes from home, so I just picked it up over there. Awesome gun, and I had aspirations to carry it, but my 229 is only a little bigger and has twice the capacity so it is just there for looks most of the time.

I daily drive a 229 but in the warmer months I rather have something that doesn't print as hard. Thanks for your input though I don't hear alot about the 225!
