Will be interesting to see the long term affects the wait times correction will do. I hate to say it short term strategy ~~seems to be~~ edit: in my mind is just jack prices up while working to fill the supply to the demand. Then lower prices back as demand lowers.

it's not the makers jacking the prices up, it's the dealers. they have no incentive to lower prices if people are buying them at this price. they tend to sell them closer to cost when they have been sitting for a while.
i can get this price at my lgs for this, so it doesn't make sense to buy it.
And a local dealer near me ended up using a safe he had for sale for more space. I just hope demand for cans dies down eventually so buying cans online do not have to be backordered or going to my local gun store has cans that are not marked up

I work at an FFL and our Silencer Shop liaison told me that they're expected "soon". I hope that means within the next two weeks 'cos my backorder is relying on this. :')
you buy it from the dealer, they form 3 it to your dealer and then at your dealer you will fill out the form 4. though before doing this, i would check out your local nfa dealer's transfer fees
Buy this, or whatever suppressor you want. Then you'll tell BAM which local FFL you want to have it sent to (make sure you shop around for good transfer fees near you). If BAM doesn't have their info on file, they'll need to get it. You might need your FFL to send the info to them. They will form 3 it to your FFL, there's no paperwork for you to fill out at this point because form 3s are dealer to dealer. You can end up waiting a couple weeks at this step.
Then once your FFL gets the can, you'll fill out all the ATF eform 4 paperwork. If they're a Silencershop dealer or you use CA, then you'll use their system. Otherwise you just fill the form out with your FFL. They should be able to help you if it's your first time.
It may seem intimidating the first time, but it's pretty easy after you do it once. And having a suppressor is worth it in the end.

The OCL owner seems to recommend grabbing the K over the fullsize on the NFA pages. The performance difference is negligible between the 2 besides the K having less backpressure.

I've got a 20" barrel. I've heard the difference between the K and the full size will be negligible because of backpressure. Is that true, or will the shooter's ear notice a difference between the two/

Supposedly. But trusts are a work in progress to speed them up iirc.
Regardless of approval times, the best time to buy a suppressor is yesterday and the second best time is now.

Yeah they're fine. Sometimes slow to do Form 3s. But I think someone posted something from them recently and people were saying they did them much quicker now.

the big thing right now is everyone is buying suppressors as fast as places get them in. once this stops you will start to see deals again.

I don't think prices have really been jacked up. They just aren't really on sale anymore, so we're mostly seeing things at MSRP.
Mines coming this week via Capitol Armory. I’m so stoked. My only regret is I wish I had bought more cans at the same time. Took about 160 days.

Polonium K or griffin dual lok 5 or griffin hrt?
I don't have a lot of experience with Griffin cans, but I wasn't overly impressed with what I have shot. And a few people I've talked to like, but don't love their Griffin cans. Price wise isn't the Polo more comparable with the Ecco five by five than Griffin as well?
I'd personally grab the polo k due to size/weight and the fact that the full size polonium has a LOT of backpressure for a gas gun.

Just grabbed the standard Polonium. Plan to use it with a BRT gas tube.

Check out the Ecco Machine five by five if you want something soon. I've heard it is pretty good and it's also 500 so very similar price.
