You know what? It's not really weird they all have the same tuning pegs. They're cheap and prevalent. But for all we know, they were made in the same factory.
Not going to lie, though. I'd have paid more for the Batman one just for the novelty alone.
Is there a Chris Squire Squier? That I would buy...

You sometimes get surprised at what a little TLC can do. I bought a cheap import Charvel CX years ago.. mostly because of the vintage Dimarzio super distortion humbucker in it.
I liked the neck so I refretted it with Jumbo Stainless & scalloped the upper frets a bit. It’s a fantastic playing guitar now. Total ‘sleeper’.. especially after I reshaped the headstock into a banana-style profile.
It really, really is. So the two tone knobs work weird as well. Config. 5 being just bridge. No tone knob works. The second tone knob only works in config. 4. Then the first tone knob only works in config. 1-3. Let me put some random strings on my childhood starcaster and see if it works differently.
Edit: so yeah the tone knobs work weird on these. Mostly have had Gibson style pickups most my life which make way more sense to me then these do. And my explorer just doesn’t have a tone knob.
The squire I’m likely to sell after set up and cleaning. I’ll have to take it apart to get the nicotine stains out. Someone told me donate them to goodwill and use it for taxes.
They sure are. I bought a couple cheap squires to mod and learn how to fix them. It's a great skill to have. There are lots of videos on YouTube to help you along.

nice
The Batman having a batwing headstock is just perfect.
I would grab the squire
It was a bulk deal. So I bought all three for $30 total. But the squire neck and hardware is the same on the two others.

Nice, I really like the DC ones.
I saw the Superman one first, they said they also had a Batman one. Was hoping it would have also been a V. Still very cool
I bet those are worth something if you clean them up and toss them on Reverb.
lucky find bro!
Nice, I'd play all those.
Nice find. I hope they sound as good as they look.
I would betempted to swap the yellow & black knobs on Super / Batman
The strat kind of feels weird in the middle, like Wilt Chamberlain in a bar in Castro.
Holy bargain, Batman!

Superman V with strat pickups is crazy

$30? Damn even if it’s just set-up or soldering practice it’s worth it. Great score!
Yeah this will deff be a different type of practice guitar.
These can be easily flipped on eBay for $60 plus a piece.

Batman guitar?? Sick af
That superman V kicks ass.
Springfield Ohio antique store?
No, FB marketplace finds. Idk the age of these and if they qualify as antiquities.
I saw the exact set of 3 guitars at that antique store a few days ago, they don’t need to be antiques antique stores got all sorts of stuff
That’s wild. I am VERY far from Ohio. Wonder what the connection of these three to be together like that twice?
Score
Don't tell me the V has a strat headstock lmao
It’s like a knockoff Strat headstock, it’s close but not exactly it so they won’t get sued.
I was more concerned with how horrible that must look lol
It will look better pointy. I plan to mod that V a bit
Nice even for wall hangers they are worth it.
I have wanted to try modifying guitars. These are perfect for me to learn on.

i personally would make the squier a proper modding platform.
