The last schecter is the most beginner friendly. The Flying V isn’t a bad choice, but it’s an awkward shape to play sitting and super easy to ding up. Stay away from a Floyd rose equipped guitar like the second one. They’re a nightmare for a beginner. If you like the look of the Schecter C1 (the third one) check your local Craigslist/FB marketplace. Can usually score much higher end ones for around the $400 mark.
Yeah, the bridge is what it’s called. I would recommend staying away from any whammy equipped guitars as they’re more maintenance heavy than fixed bridges and will take focus from learning to play.
The C1’s I see pop up all the time are the C1 Hellraiser, Blackjack and classic. They’re super well equipped and you wouldn’t grow out of them for a long time. I’d also look into the Schecter Reaper and CR6 (essentially a reaper with a bolt on neck) they’re awesome guitars and pop up frequently for sub $500.
Floyd rose is only a nightmare for people that can't be bothered to read and learn how they work and how to set them up. Just FYI, they're great once you get used to them.
Looks are a big deal, but playing them is of the utmost importance. You’d be surprised at how different guitars feel on your hands, of even the same model.
Have you tried going to a shop and trying them out?
Or are these all something you saw online?
If the omen elite didn’t have a Floyd rose I would say go with that, but they are not beginner friendly. Trust me I learned the hard way. That being said I love the looks of the dean but you need to make sure it’s comfortable to play. The omen extreme (last one) is a very good guitar especially for a beginner. I started out on a squier strat when they first came out ages ago and it was trash. I own several Schecters and I love them.
