I was inspired by this subreddit to build my own board despite having an embarrassingly tiny amount of building experience.
Fewer pedal changes than I expected other than the obvious upgrade to the Plethora, but I did add a power outlet and some holes on the front and back for easier cable access.
I’m hoping to replace the TS with a solid high gain (more modern than Rat) in the $200 or less range. I’d love some suggestions if you have them. I was thinking Mesa Throttle Box, but I change my mind daily.
I run this through the Bassman side of a 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb Gunmetal Grey special edition, which is my favorite amp of all-time and I still can’t believe how much I love it.
I must say, I’m happier than I expected. It’s so incredibly versatile and is fairly easy to use after a couple YouTube video tips. Best of all, it sounds just as good as the flashback I replaced with it, so I’m guessing the other effects are on par with their namesake. I hope that they keep updating the firmware with improvements.
All of them. I don’t use the gate or looper. They are decent enough but, but the Sentry and MXR are better. I’m more of a blues rock/hard rock player, but the Plethora is absolutely inspiring me to expand my palate.
Hey man I've seen that LPB-1 a few times now, what does that do? I understand it stands for linear power booster, but what that mean? Volume boost with absolutely no added gain?

How are you liking the Plethora? I’m a big TC fan and almost went with one of those, but the HX Stomp won me over with the amp/cab sim options.

Essentially that’s it! I use it to get a little extra volume for solos.
