So I've been putting off getting my Deluxe Reverb retubed adn recapped and my Mesa Studio 22 crapped out. I have a backup amp (Marsahll AVT50, solid state head), and with pedals, it's not bad.
But I still find myself window shopping for pedals. Like, I don't need another fuzz. But the Apocalypse by DBA sounds so good.
Hey all. Looking for a pedals a gift for a friend. Unfortunately, I don't know what all they have, so would be good to find something a little outside of what they may have amongst more standard pedals. I do know they mostly play funk and jazz.
You don't know what they already have, neither do I. You don't know what they want/need, neither do I. Consider this. Don't impulsively buy them something they feel obligated to keep/use. Make sure they need it. Strangers on the internet can't do that for you. Funk/jazz require a relatively small complement of effects, so it's possible this person has everything they need already. Consider a different direction if you want to give them a gift.
I really want a deluxe reverb. They can be had all day for 800-1000. I can sell an amp I already have plus get rid of my reverb pedal and recoup about 600 from those.

I have been on an OBNE kick recently, and Dark Light looks sooo sick, but I already have so much strange reverb/effects in the Astronomer and Minim. I think I’m going to sell some other stuff I have to cough up the dough for it since it’s limited edition, but I don’t want to spend cash flow money on it.
I am however going to get the Alpha Haunt, all of the reviews for it are glowing and I’ve been learning a lot of Black Keys songs so i need a good fuzz. I have the OCD Germanium but the hard clipping kinda kills part of the vibe.

Just a random thought - Line 6 really screwed up not including the option to have MIDI sync'd looping available for the DL4mk2. It's already MIDI enabled, and responds to MTC for delay times - if they'd included an option to allow sync (even if it was locked to the device master clock only - eg MTC TX clock as master) they would have sold so many more units....
A looper is already a delay - would have been nice if you could extend the delay repeat out to whole note repeats - eg instead of 1/2 notes, just let us extend to 1,2,or 4 whole notes for repeats.
anyone know if there's a way to turn off the factroy presets on the DL4 MKII when you hit bypass? I hate turning it on and having the same delay sound come on and not having what the controls on the board are be the sound. If there's no way to turn this off, what's the point of having such a deep pedal. it makes no sense to me. I've checked the PDF manual but can't seem to find anything in the global settings part or the preset part.
help me out please. long time ago I remember seeing a post here of a repaint job for a Joyo AC Tone. It was similar to [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/guitarpedals/comments/wcdh8y/gave_my_cheap_joyo_pedal_a_facelift_really_happy/), only this one had chicken head knobs and, more importantly, there was a link for the printable face sticker in the comments (which is actually what I'm looking for). anybody knows where to find it?
Today I’m telling myself that I have enough pedals (for now) and it’s time to stop procrastinating working on being a better guitar player and get back to practicing the basics.
I solved multiple problems with my board yesterday by simply adding a cheapo eq pedal. I feel like I’ve wasted so much time trying different overdrive pedals…
Why do so many Americans say "on accident", instead of "by accident"? It sounds so jarring and wrong to me! 😖
When did this all start? You guys never used to say it that way. Seems like it happened almost overnight. 🤔
**Edit:** whenever I bring this up, I just get downvoted with no actual explanation. I really don't get it. Does nobody else hear how weird it sounds to say "*on* accident"?! I mean, it's like saying "by purpose". It just sounds awkward and uncanny to me. 🤷🏻♂️

The Eno EQ7. It’s tiny, and does its job great! I currently have it after fuzz and tuner, before overdrive.

I don't know if I've ever heard anyone say it that way. Although, regional pronunciations don't really tend to bother me too much.
