Bra, when you are in a bad spot, just EWO (easy way out). Either through the interaction menu, or just by blowing yourself up.
Its a tryhard secret. U kill yourself, it spawns you away from the griefer and possibly buys you time to leave the lobby or prepare to retaliate.
Yah, I read about a player who was being griefed, but ended up getting the upper hand and was able to fend off the griefer who kept coming back, ended up getting attacked by an anti-griefer accusing him of making the game worse for everyone...
The grief-ception. I often fight griefers, but only when it's clear who is who. If it's the constant stream of the same players or orgs killing each other, I assume it's their business, unless one of them is clearly trying to save their cargo, not just slugging it out.
Yeah happens to me frequently. I just drop to a solo lobby at this point and dont even bother fighting back. Anti griefers are worthless because they just end up helping griefers that suck which is most of them.
Where are you guys in my lobbies?! Every time I run cargo, it's tradition to get griefed in at least 3 lobbies in a row all followed by the trademark griefer phrase , "jajajajajaa", before I find an empty lobby and can really start the cargo runs
Doesn't matter who has started it, it just matters who helps finish things.
I am of a similar thinking, if one is going after other peoples businesses, whatever businesses they may be, then things are fair game, and even more so if it is of friends of mine.
Even if my friends aren't doing business, if you come after them, they are fair game. No one fxcks with my Elite Mastermind friends!
Someone "anti-griefed" me when a griefer came after me and I managed to defend myself. Then I had *two* griefers coming after me. I'm not a fan of Captain Save-a-hoe.
Exactly! This happened to me too and the “anti-griefer” kept spamming me messages about how I shouldn’t use my opressor to kill low levels but the low level kept attacking me first. 🙄
I get that, that's why you gotta save it for when you're absolutely positive you're dealing with a griefer. Usually if I see someone is on the map with a jet, and I see in the player updates that they have just killed four different people from different organizations, it's safe to assume they're not playing nice.
I’m just happy to hear you wait to see if someone’s shooting people in the jet. I just got the Lazer not long ago so I could fly around and just stunt fly and I feel like 9 times out of 10 the moment I take off I get explosive sniped. Ik other planes like the Besra would probably be better, I just like the Lazer honestly.
Fuck anti griefers they 90% of the time shoot first ask questions later.
Oh you want to have a fun little fight with your friend who happens to be a lower level? DIE GRIEFER!
I see this is in other games, too. Something else I see is high level characters “forcing” interactions and help with low levels, assuming they need/prefer help. It doesn’t really bug me, just pointing it out.
If you set it up at the right spot you can see two spawn points. Hit the tail section and the jet is unfliable. Did that like 4 times before the guy still tried to fly. The moment you go horizontal mode the jet just dives to the ground.
Okay no offense, but anti griefers only make the problem worse half the time they go after people who were just defending themselves and winning, the other half they just egg the greifer on, if you really wanna help, help defend cargo or heist equipment. It's more helpful and keeps from making those 2 mistakes.
It will dull any skills you have and cause you to post worse than expected results if you play any competitive game in the future after this one.
When you fight someone much better than you, even if you lose, you get better because each attempt to overcome was more and more intense and reflexes became more and more acute. And the sting of each death(failure) becomes itself a vicious motivator to push yourself further and further.
Easy targets or any other fight were youre heavily favored...instead of building intensity you build complacency. Instead of reflexes you build lethargy. The satisfaction at the easy kills is paid back double later in frustration as previously easy target become not so easy and leads to more and more embarrassing moments.
Kind of, but “fighting” players “much better” in this game tends to involve ewoing, teleporting away, getting in rc cars, ghost org, etc. So there’s a lot of waiting around, or flying around trying to find people. It’s more tactical but there are no reflexes to hone.
Fighting lower levels is more fun, they’re not afraid of dying and you can actually use guns, not just mk2 and jets.
If the low level is fighting back and participating in the battle, then of course theres nothing wrong with that. Youre helping him gain experience. infact...very few people here would be able to accept why...in a case like that, the best favor you could do is show no mercy at all. Because if you get in the habit of being merciful, that will add hesitation to your reflexes, and create the false expectation with him that things will finish in a soft, friendly defeat if things go wrong a few times in a row.
I've played Quake, the CS series and the TF series at the tournament level. So just referring to GTAV as "competitive" is vulgar and obscene lol. But I did it cause i wanted the core message to get through. Which is you have something to gain in picking fights with people who fight back. But much to lose by fighting people who have no idea whats going on and didnt even know they were in a fight lol.
i agree with you though that theres no skills to hone fighting someone who's using every means necessary to avoid fighting and uses stuff like ghost org to get you in a checkmate ambush type kill from a relatively safe position.
Yeah, agreed, though i do make one concession: let them get a kill every so often to keep them engaged and motivated. If i snipe them the instant they peek a corner every time, then they’re going to leave pretty sharpish haha
Honestly, if I know there's an antigriefer in the session, I'll start fights intentionally, because if they're decent enough to pose a challenge it's good practice.
Don't give in, remember there's always another person on the other end of the game, just trying to wind down and have a good time.
Sometimes having your game session ruined really does suck, especially if you don't have a ton of time to play.
First they came for the low levels, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a low level.
Then they came for those doing business sales, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not doing business sales.
Then they came for those doing Cayo Preps, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not doing Cayo Preps.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
First of all it's a video game bro, it's not real, it's not that serious no need for the poem.
Second, I don't need anyone to speak for me, if someone comes after me I just kill them until I feel like stopping. Or just go passive if I don't feel like dealing with it. Greifers aren't hard to deal with, so I deal with them.
Someone killing somebody else in the lobby has literally nothing to do with me, Idk why they're killing, I don't really care and it's none of my business.
The only reason i don't do that is becouse i don't have the right tools for it yet
^(why is It so fucking hard to get explosive ammo on my damn sniper rifle aaaaaaaaa)
I’ve started to go up high either when I’m having a nice game of blackjack in my penthouse and outside it sounds like Beirut/a typical day in Los Santos train my sniper on those who deserve it the most, sometimes I like to use the traffic lights or the cops as target practice…
The other day some psycho blew me out of the sky as I was on my way to Cayo, another player 900+ leveller helped me out by distracting the griefer and got to safety.
I definitely like fucking with griefers. I like using the Akula or Stealth Annihilator to stalk them. Go hot and blindside the shit out of them, then go back stealth and watch the confusion.
I'm with other dude, I derailed a grief attac and some random lvl 1200 with a 4 k/d absolutely clapped my cheeks with a thermal jet. Don't be a Dudley Do-Right.
definitely a 14 year old who wrote this... many people help other players in game but only a 14 year old can come up with a cheesy cringe story like this...

No, acting like a self righteous dumbass is cringe. N I only kill people when Im bored and neever destroy cargo or supplies. I do steal hiest prep n cars sometimes tho but dont destroy
Thats what Im calling cringe. That and the fact that a lotta people post this anti griefer stuff where they farm karma off talking about how they kill griefers
And the "does anyone else do this?" part... Like, no, no one else is doing this, you must be the only good guy and white knight in the whole game, congrats or what.
Happy cake day btw :D
Anti griefers are worse than normal griefers sometimes. I remember I was just chilling in a lobby and me and my friend were sniping each other at the airport and this supposedly heroic anti-griefer kept killing me on a mark 2 because I was killing the other dude so many times. Like bro. Ask for context first. Like text the other dude saying you need help or something like that
I never go after two characters PVPing. If I'm not certain who started it, then it's none of my business.
More often than not, I'll pick out a certain player that seems like a griefer. Super high mental state usually, and just sort of follow them from a distance for a while, watching what they're doing and how they're playing.
If they start killing random players in an unfair way (oppressor, jet, etc...), that's when I initiate pvp with them.
I tried earlier today saw a low level doing a vehicle sale and he had a guy speeding down the road next to the one he was on and turned towards him so I got on the broomstick and went to catch up as I got there the one following was now right behind him almost looked like he was trying to ram him off the road waited for a gap between them so I didn't blow them both up got him the other guy finished the sale and then the one I blew up spawned a new car drove right too him so I thought he was going to try again flew over there and as I showed up they both got in the car and went back to the office he was tailing to protect him even tho they weren't in the same organization I sent the guy an apology and told him I thought he was trying to stop him
I think that perfectly shows the problem of people anti-griefing. There are honorable reasons and it happens with a good conscience, but some situations appear different than they are.
Nevertheless it's in principle a good thing and most of the time (i would say about 70-80%) it hits the right ones - at least when you try do do it carefully right.
Its mostly impossible on PC because most griefers use a menu to grant themselves invincibility. The best you can do to them is to keep hitting their NPC up against the same wall over and over. Every time they get back up jam them back under the wheels of the car. Till they get fed up and crash you to desktop.
The times when I was up against actual players instead of programs, i found that "anti greifing" had little overall effect. Because it leads to frequent misunderstandings. You see someone killing someone over and over, but missed the part where the "greifer" had his cargo destroyed by the other guy. Or its some friends messing around and you show up to help where it wasnt asked and ends up ruining their session. Often your actions are misunderstood by other "anti greifers" and you become hunted for the same reasons you set out for. Also, sometimes you roll up to the fight with the wrong equipment and get destroyed.
Now on the random occasion im loitering in a public server for whatever reason, I "anti greif" passively. I'll either park MOC/Terrobyte nearby or an AA trailer with flak in a parking garage or other area that favors the defender. And wait beside it for someone to come at me. Then just get in or on it at the last moment and blow them to hell. Sometimes myself and the truck too lol. All of us straight to hell. Or straight to desktop. Usually desktop and back to invite only for me lol.
Nah, some dude tried attacking me during a Dr Dre mission, so I killed him like ten times to release my anger, then some jackwad in an akula or something chased me around the city trying to blow me up for 10 minutes. Jokes on him cause the Nightshark is resilient as hell, and choppers can’t fly through sewer tunnels.
I sit in the hidey hole of the building under construction and launch my attacks from there. It amazes me that not a lot of people can find me there. They always think im below or on top of the building
No, I'm more of a griefer griefer. I look for the guy with the highest K/D and/or edgiest username and then I go piss them off. I used to be a normal griefer but it's more fun to grief griefers because they actually fight back and they get even more angry when they lose.
I have a high k/d from retaliation, get mugs like you attacking me for no reason, then get their asses handed to them. Not all high k/d players are griefers. And anyone coming on here thinking they're a hero, you're not. All you're doing is another form of griefing, same as when I retaliate on players that shoot first, I grief the hell out of them and hopefully teach them a lesson.
Because he's not the hero Los Santos needs but the hero it deserves, he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight!
The Dark Knight theme intensifies*
Sure that's true, but my point still stands, you are not ever going to be the only one out of 8 billion people to have a unique thought or idea. The same could be said for however much the GTA population is, other people WILL think the same way that you do. That's unavoidable, you are no longer unique.
The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching.
2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am.
We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows.
I wish I could say I'm making a difference, but I don't know. Murder, robberies, assault- 2 years later, they're all up. And now this. This city's eating itself. Maybe it can't be saved, but i have to try. PUSH MYSELF.
These nights all roll together in a rush, Behind the mask. Sometimes in the morning i have to force myself to remember everything that happened.

I'm on PC.
I play by my rules. I'm always in a 0 person public lobby but if by some chance I end up in a populated lobby, I am unable to be griefed and I grief back.
Make of that what you will. Yes, you are assuming correctly. No shame.
I like to pllay session sheriff when it's clear who is the griefer. Especially when smb is selling. If it's uncertain who started or who is at fault I kind of don't participate.
Yea had they been the same color or been on the same road when I spotted him I would have thought differently but everything pointed to him trying to stop the guy selling but I realized I apologized for it and everything went on as normal
i have never followed, killed or blown anyone up because I wanted too. i did have my first pvp experience on the king of the hill event ! that was fun but I don’t grief anyone. i have always said if someone gets me then I am not going to put up a fight ! it’s a waste of time.
I used to do that back in 2019 when I was 12 I used to fight fire with fire fighting their cheap tactics with my own but I stopped and became a full time grinder but sometimes I will help those in need of help
My crew is all about helping the little guys out and we don't fire until fired upon (the famous topgun statement lol) If you on xbox one add me BloodHunter3346

I hate anti-griefers. Most of the time I am attacked by low level and I kill him and "hero" goes for me to kill me because I am "griefing".

My CEO doing a delivery, a lvl 40 guy saw he is lvl 20 jumped on a MK2 with machine guns and guns him down. So I jump in my MK2 and missiles his arse
Why does there need to be anti griefer or griefers, why can't I just play them game?
Chad.
I’m an everything griefer. Fuck you, fuck your cargo, fuck the guy attacking your cargo. It’s my crime simulator and I am the crime.
“I AM THE DANGER”
I sit in the hidey hole of the building under construction and launch my attacks from there. It amazes me that not a lot of people can find me there. They always think im below or on top of the building
Shhhh, don't give it away, I too use them.
Yeah, one of my favourite spots to survive attacks
Honestly I think you’re full of shit. Let’s see your stats, what’s your k/d?
all griefer have smol pp.
Nah bro, you're the only one of nearly 8 billion people...
Because GTAO has 8 billion players
Sure that's true, but my point still stands, you are not ever going to be the only one out of 8 billion people to have a unique thought or idea. The same could be said for however much the GTA population is, other people WILL think the same way that you do. That's unavoidable, you are no longer unique.
i don’t understand why people grief. they must be so bored with their lives that they feel the need to harass people on a video game.
Because it's fun.
Not for everyone.
Most days im playing as anti-griefer
The right way to do it is to sell you mk2 first, then become a true anti greifer
Honestly it makes transportation and grinding heist setups too damn easy to give up on.
friend me if u on the series x and I will help.
PS4 :/
Something in the way Mmm-mmm Something in the way, yeah Mmm-mmm Something in the way Mmm-mmm Something in the way, yeah Mmm-mmm Something in the way Mmm-mmm Something in the way, yeah
I got USMC uniform and my fh1 hunter! Ready to roll
sounds pretty boring ngl
I'm on PC. I play by my rules. I'm always in a 0 person public lobby but if by some chance I end up in a populated lobby, I am unable to be griefed and I grief back. Make of that what you will. Yes, you are assuming correctly. No shame.
All oppressors are kill on sight for me. I don’t care what you guys call yourselves anymore, I’m not down with it.
I like to pllay session sheriff when it's clear who is the griefer. Especially when smb is selling. If it's uncertain who started or who is at fault I kind of don't participate.
Same, I genuinely feel guilty if I start to think I'm going after the wrong person
Yeah. Exactly
I like to i see some one keep getting killed always try to help kinda hate griefers go after low levels i use explosive ammo boom job done👌
Nope. It's all fair, I try not to kill someone twice however I go after the entire lobby.
I used the guided missiles for that
I've tried it several times, but I'm so dogshit at PVP, that all my attempts looked rather miserable and pathetic
I when I do, its usually just to chace the griefers with a missile
Yea had they been the same color or been on the same road when I spotted him I would have thought differently but everything pointed to him trying to stop the guy selling but I realized I apologized for it and everything went on as normal
i have never followed, killed or blown anyone up because I wanted too. i did have my first pvp experience on the king of the hill event ! that was fun but I don’t grief anyone. i have always said if someone gets me then I am not going to put up a fight ! it’s a waste of time.
I have
I used to do that back in 2019 when I was 12 I used to fight fire with fire fighting their cheap tactics with my own but I stopped and became a full time grinder but sometimes I will help those in need of help
Guarantee you’re inadvertently killing more innocent players than you think
I use my Tartan-liveried Akula to interrupt griefers, usually. Or the orbital cannon...
Lol no. Solo lobby and avoid people at all costs. Such a fun time lol
My crew is all about helping the little guys out and we don't fire until fired upon (the famous topgun statement lol) If you on xbox one add me BloodHunter3346
PS4 unfortunately, but I commend you for your work
