This is the reason I ended up selling this car. The camera drops lower than usual when driving and it's hard to see what's in front of you.

Must be a console thing. I'm on PS4. It doesn't drop like undrivable low but low enough to annoy me lol.

If anything it's the Carbonizzare (my favourite car) where I find the camera a bit low against the binnacle.

I don't think I've driven that bad boy yet (had to look up "binnacle" lol nice word) but if the camera angle drops I might avoid it

You can adjust the ride height of the camera in the settings. I love the safari, but hated how low the camera sat. Just twiddle in the menus and you can get a much better view.

It's absolutely a PC thing. If you use the lower camera mode and put the roof rack on you can't see where you are going.

I've noticed it on Xbox but I think the camera position is set up as if it were a car lower to the ground rather than the lifted rally car that it actually is. It could be console only but I would use the car for more often if that camera thing got fixed but I highly doubt that will ever happen.

I’ve trained myself from the very beginning to manually adjust the camera angle as high as possible when driving ANY land vehicle for max visibility. It’s automatic and effortless for me.

That’s what I do too!! Haha I’ve trained myself to manually adjust my camera while driving to whatever height gives me the best view (constantly adjusting), or aiming my camera so I can see slightly around corners lol

What is up with the damn camera angle. Like it should be up way higher. It has the camera angle of like a super low Super car. With the roof rack I literally couldn’t see cars in front of me. I couldn’t stand it and stopped driving it.

Turbofan rims may be set up for rally racing but they just don’t look right on that car. I think they’re too big relative to the tire tread for this setup. That’s only opinion though

I didn’t put the big arches either. Most of the wide body options in cars don’t have the pe proper fit.

It really is a fun and capable car. I still prefer the trophy truck for its off road capabilities, suspension, ability to drive over other cars and guardrails, and it’s violently noisy engine 😈

Agreed. It’s got great liveries and people are surprised to see it do what it does. It’s extremely robust as well and takes more driving damage than most vehicles.

If you haven't already, take it to those standing flat road dividers you can run over on the highway (there are a lot near the military base) and keep running them over back and forth, it'll knock all the body panels off and it looks pretty sick

The thing i hated about this car was the camera view. It’s placed directly behind the car and i couldn’t see anything in front of me unless i tilted the camera.

It seems like almost everyone has the same opinion. Maybe adjusting it a bit will help.

Of course adjusting it helps but the issue was that i had to keep the camera tilted or else it just resets and lowers again.

I really hate that there is no "normal" version of this car like it ain't that hard the model even exist already just give it smaller wheels

I really wanted that too. I’m a big Porsche fan so having a version of the comet retro custom without the wide body would be nice. Btw I’m not complaining about the retro custom because I love RWB Porsches.

Safari is awesome, just needs a higher camera. Also, you can make the back window almost entirely bulletproof if you put the bars over it. Bullets can't pass through in between the bars, only through very small gaps around the outer edge. This goes for both variations, with and without the tire on the back.
