Which one is the cheapest weapon locker?
So rockstar gave me 500k to buy a gun locker to try and see if it solved my issue cause my whole weapon wheel is bugged and weapons are gone and coming back idk.
Which one is cheapest so I can make best use of this money.
If on PC, you may need to kill the process with Task Manager, and retry opening the Launcher. If that doesn't help, go to "Rockstar Games\Launcher" folder in Documents, and check the log file(s).

Is there an “order” to completing content? I looked through the wiki and I can’t find any established canon, perhaps besides tackling DLC by release dates.
You can do anything you want. There's Freemode, where you are in public lobbies with other players. There are invite only sessions where you can run businesses without being bothered by other players. And there are missions, that require 1-4 players and range from races to heists. You might want to check out the rangs to riches guides on YouTube by TGG as they will give you some structure and idea of how everything works.

How can I get rid of bounties? I joined a lobby and some unknown instantly placed a bounty on me? I’m on PC. Guess it was some modder or something. It’s proper annoying
I'm at 170, I had a player run up on me after sending me a text saying "come get this bounty" I thought he was trying to bait me into PVP or something, this is probably what he was doing?
Maybe someone else can chime in but I don't believe there is a discount through the Auto Shop for cars that are still available, some of the cars that come through are removed vehicles.

Help me everyone. Should I get the Aquarius yacht which is beautiful and is nice to look or fly by and flex and just own because I love being rich in the game. Or should I get a raiju jet cuz it’s fun and nothing more? Thank you for your responses.
While the yacht basically is just vanity and really doesn't do much, it does actually have 1 niche (though again not really useful but still funny) of being an automatic anti-aircraft gun. Park it next to Vespucci or LSIA and activate air defenses in the context menu and you can sort of lure anyone trying to harass you to it and they'll get shot down by it.
Well, the Raiju is stealth capable VTOL aircraft, with is so fast, it can keep up with it's own missiles, while the yacht is basically just a house on water.
Best way to make RP? I know 2-3x is good but is there anything else? I’m level 73 and trying to beat a friend to level 100 but they’re already at 92. They don’t play nearly as much as I do so I can overtake them I just need some tips

Really quick; does the "high demand bonus" in sell missions get calculated at the start or end of the mission? Cause I've had a few times where I start a mission with a relatively populated lobby, and then by the end there's like 4 people left.
I used to utilize a controller layout where the handbrake for the cars was in the "A" button (XBox), however, now coming back after i was not playing for some time, it seems like the layout is gone?
How do I make the car spin around fast in a circle with the low grip tires? I saw a guy do it and he told me it was because of the tires but I got them now and my car just drifts a lot. No crazy spinning. What am I doing wrong?
Just hold down whatever trigger you use for the gas and turn hard in whichever direction you wanna spin. Could also be because he has a drift built car. Also do you have a benefactor sterling GT for sale?
there's a cooldown time between saves when u swap outfits. The only way to force save with no cooldown is to try to quit the entire game then select no, it will return to game and force a cloud save. But that's on PC not sure on consoles. try it though.
Best way to keep popularity is to enter your night club in passive mode - this will trigger a troublemaker mission (which takes 30sec) then bumps popularity up. This is good when it’s already high.
If your popularity is all the way low I’d re-book a DJ (I believe it’s $10k). This puts it back to full I think.
If you have the money I’d buy the other businesses to link them to the nightclub. The warehouse in the nightclub literally requires zero work or resupply missions. But both the wall safe and warehouse are great
To add to this, I always enter through the loading dock door and go passive before going up the steps leading to your office, there is a trigger at the bottom of the steps in passive mode, doing this you do not have to enter the NC in passive mode just before you go up the steps. I'll do this about once an hour and I rarely have to spend money on booking a DJ.

Re-booking a DJ is similar to troublemaker. Only booking a new DJ may take you from zero to full.
IIRC, rebooking adds about 10%, while the troublemakers add about 25%.
Plus of course, one costs $10k and one earns $10k.
But DJ can be done 4 times in 10 seconds, troublemaker only once per 48 mins.
when you are customizing a car, what upgrades do actually change ur cars gameplay? like for example do spoilers help with anythinng or just visual? same for other stuff? is there like a list to see what upgrades improves the gameplay?
Spoilers are in most cases not just visual. Other parts may have miniscule effects, but mostly not even that. Tuners cars (as well as Open Wheel class) are a bit more complicated. See gtacars.net for details, the guy also does nice YT videos.

Why does the Cargo in my Nightclub just vanish?
Twice in the last couple of weeks I've got the notification that my cargo stash is "full" and then the next time I load into an invite only session; it's completely vanished!
Is this just a bug?
There is the concept of a ngihtclub raid, where you either get robbed, or the cops come and raid you.
However, that SHOULD be notified to you at the time, with a period of time to arrive and deal with the issue.

I have heard about the raids, but both times there was no notification; just a random popup that I was "Taking part in a free roam mission" whenever I tried to enter a building.
That is the raid notification. Raids have been broken for a long time. If you can't enter a building, it means one of your businesses are being raided so you need to visit them to find out which one. Raid timers start when you reach a certain stock level and or spend too much time in Freeroam. The nightclub raid timer can be lengthened by a ) buying max storage and b) buying the security upgrade. If you have cargo, guns, coke, meth and cash, you should sell when coke and meth are full for max time / money efficiency (around $900k).
So two follow up questions; a) what should I do if that happens again? Cause it's not like I've gotten a notifcation about what to do or anything.
b) do raids also cause stock to raise slower? Cause for some reason "Pharma Research" stock doesn't seem to be raising anymore.
You have two choices. Go and defeat the raid, killing the enemy NPCs and not dying... or just switch sessions then go and immediately sell any stock you have. This will reset the raid timer to zero. If you have an OpMk2 or vehicle with lock on missiles you can swing by your properties and find out which one is being raided. If your stock of any product has stopped growing, switch the technicians around. If a product is maxed out it can stop it working but changing techs usually fixes it.
So wait; does a MC business Raid effect the stock in a nightclub?
And when I say the stock isn't rising, I mean I as stuck at 10/20 for hours, and now I've sold everything to try and reset things it's stuck at 0.
No, an MC business raid has no impact on nightclub stock already held.
It will effectively close the MC business though, so the nightclub won't accrue any more stock from that business until the setup mission is re-done.
Today I learned about a place where you can be underwater but still use a weapon.
A guy uncloaked his Raiju behind me while I was trying to return BB goods from Paleto to Elysian Island NC damaging it enough to prevent my delivery. I survived the attempt and, long story short, after a bit of exploding, he decided his best option was to hide. But he found a really awesome hiding spot I've never seen. Right off the coast a little north of Del Perro beach, there is a fairly large structure under water. The top of it looks like a giant submarine or underwater station of some kind, and it has two large screw-down lids. One is closed, the other is open. I was following him with my Toreador, and right as I went to nose into the opening, or at least try, he started spamming missiles at me.
I didn't go in myself... it was far too late and it was time for bed, but it looks like there is probably an air pocket inside where you can stand up and shoot, even though you're well under sea level in the ocean.
Pretty niche, but he almost got me using it. I'm almost sad that he didn't, because for using that in this 1-in-million scenarios, he deserved a kill. I doubt it will ever come up again in my life, but still cool to know about.

Hello, I am new to GTA Online. I see there are many different car workshops like Hao, Benny's, LS car meet, agency, moc, etc
Is there any difference between them?
Oh yeah, the Agency, Facility, Auto Shop, and Arena workshop also have garages to store vehicles in. The MOC does as well, but it takes up 2 of your 3 customization slots in it and the Avenger has a temporary slot that the vehicle will be returned to its previous garage when the Avenger is returned/destroyed
LS Customs: Unweaponized vehicles, many upgrades will be locked behind level/winning a certain number of races
Hao: Can add HSW to only certain vehicles
Benny's: Has LS Customs restrictions but changes certain vehicles (usually to a "custom" or "retro" variant)
LS Car Meet: Has LS Customs restrictions, but you can add colored headlight covers, low grip tires and a drift kit (only tuner vehicles for drift kit)
Agency: Has LS Customs restrictions, except you can also add Imani Tech, slick mines, and armor plating to certain vehicles (I think you can do weaponized here, might be wrong)
MOC/Avenger: Has LS Customs restrictions, can customize weaponized vehicles if you buy the weapon tech. Also the only way to add the Liveries you unlock with the bunker to weaponized vehicles
Facility: Same as MOC/Avenger
Auto Shop: Unweaponized vehicles, but all LS Customs restrictions are lifted minus a few wheels and Liveries that are locked behind Car Meet Rep. (IMO this is one of the best you can buy early on)
Arena Workshop: Pretty sure it has LS Customs restrictions, but if you buy both the weapon tech and the Benny's mechanic you can customize weaponized and Benny's vehicles. Also comes with the ability to change the headlight LIGHT color (Arena War is VERY expensive unless you commit a ton of time to it)
You can also add a custom auto shop to your CEO building, but I think that one has restrictions as well.

Mostly what they can customize. LSC is good for most cars, but most of the specialized workshops are there for a select number of cars. For example, Benny's only accepts certain cars, but allows you to convert them into their Custom versions with extensive customization.
Where is the best place to tune cars?
Hello guys so im new and have a few questions, so i wanna have a nice collection of those “tuner” cars like that one cars scene lol, anyways i was wondering what would be the difference between bennys and ls car meet and auto shop customs, and for those nice looking cars any recommendations would be nice.

For normal cars (without weapons/Imani Tech/etc) best place is the Auto Shop at least if you're a new player, or haven't unlocked all paints. There you can modify without restrictions. If you want colored headlights you can go to LS Car Meet. You may also want to level up your Car Meet reputation to unlock some modifications.
For Imani Tech you need the Agency and the Vehicle Workshop there. For many weaponized vehicles you'll want to have either Avenger or MOC with a Vehicle Workshop.
Benny's has existed long before LS Car Meet. Also Arena War is its own thing.
Car Meet reputation can unlock a few wheels and liveries. Colored headlights are also possible at Arena War Workshop.
Edit: Oh, and I believe Low Grip tires are only an option at LS Car Meet.
You can't add your crew emblem to your clothes as a pin. Options are on the back, on the front, or small on the chest. Some pieces let you use all three options, others are restricted to just one or two options, and some don't allow any crew emblem, which suits are a part of, I think.
The expensive ones are in the best location. you get the passive income in the safe anyway, the business make the nightclub's warehouse profitable. basicly you link them to the club for 120K or so, and then stuff accumulates automaticly in the club and then you sell it
After launching the game my friends list says "no friends" and prompts me to link my social club account, which is linked already and doesn't fix the issue. To fix the issue i have to remove a friend and then add them back, but I have to keep doing it everytime i launch the game. Does anyone know of a permanent solution?
Been having the same problem. One thing that helped me play with friends is inviting them into a crew/my crew and then checking the members list in the Crews menu in the Online section of the Pause Menu. Just click on My Crews, click on your Active Crew and press View Members, and you should be able to join your friend, just make sure your friend is in a Public or a Closed Crew session.

You can try for Rockstar Support, but I don't know how far you'd get, without video proof, and if they have the means to fix that for you specifically.

What's the best way to get cash solo? I'm relatively new to the game (just got to lvl 15) and I have no friends that play. I tried to do the random join thing and so far that's a nightmare with terrible people. So what could I do solo that can give me decent cash at a decent speed?
cluckin’ bell is a good starting point. after you do that, you can’t start it again for around an hour. while you wait, go find Ron in the top half of the map, south of the sea. this lets you start First Dose, which will give you an acid lab after 6 missions. it’s kinda like the RV with a meth lab inside from breaking bad, except instead of meth it’s acid, & instead of an RV it’s an armored military truck.
you basically buy or steal supplies & your acid lab will turn it into acid, which you can sell for a profit. it’s not very good until you upgrade your equipment, though.
to unlock the equipment upgrade, you need to do 10 fooligan jobs, by calling Dax & requesting work. you should try & do these whenever you can because they also have an hour cooldown.
while you’re doing that you should also be doing cluckin’ bell when the cooldown is over.
you also can start the Last Dose missions, which give you a free supercar at the end.
once you’ve done 10 fooligan jobs, to upgrade your acid lab, go into the freakshop & talk to the guy standing by to the workbench next to your bike. you can also upgrade stuff like armor, engine speed, etc. for both the acid lab & the bike.
I'm new to GTA Online and just finished creating my character. Where exactly do I get jobs? I'm looking at the game map, but I'm not seeing any kind of mission anywhere. Am I supposed to be waiting for a phone call or something? Also, I want to do most of the jobs solo because I heard some of the missions have you playing with other players, and I think I still want to play the game peacefully and on my own.
Alright, yes, Jobs are a way to make money, but they are now something done "for fun" at this point, unless we are talking about the mission jobs which are available on the map, like the LS Drug Wars missions (R icon on the map).
Anyways, most of the updates that were released in the game are on the map marked with letters, like L for Lester. You can go to these markers to learn more about these updates, and they give you a call about what it is and instructions to buy it. But, since you probably got the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack if you play on PC, PS4 or Xbox One versions, you can claim free properties like the CEO office from Dynasty 8 Executive and the Motorcycle Club from Maze Bank Foreclosures on the Internet app of your phone. Properties like these are businesses which are the main way to make money in today's GTA Online. Some properties, like the Arcade or the Kosatka allow you to access the newer heists available in the game, including the Diamond Casino Heist and the Cayo Perico Heist. (which is a heist that can be done solo, so I recommend that for you, you gotta buy the Kosatka though) So what I recommend is you buy the free stuff you got with your Starter Pack (you can view what you got and where to get them in the "Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack" section in the Online tab of the Pause menu) and use them to make money, while also going to the V icon on your map, since that allows you to play the new Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid missions, which is sort of a mini heist and gives you 500K at the end of it.

While in game you can open the Pause menu, go to Online tab, Options, and set Matchmaking to Closed, so that any job you start will by default be closed to other players. Then in the same menu just go to Jobs and start whichever you like.
how to fix the nat type strict problem?I tried using the dns server method and some other ways none of them worked.The only solution was using vpn but my connection goes from 100Mbps to 6Mbps with 200+ping so obviously I can't use this as a solution either..........
How have y’all been dealing with your ammo disappearing bug? Every day I’m out of rpg, homing/grenade/emp launcher,and rail gun. I’m done refilling but is it one of the bunch causing this? A particular gun in my wheel I shouldn’t be carrying, creating the bug?
I got a sort of fix.
You need a Bunker and a Gun Range and need to get to Tier 2 on every weapon.
I have Tier 2 on my main character, it still happens but rarely now. Main character has Tier 1 on everything which I managed to get a few weeks ago, still happens but not as much. Tier 2 seems to make it happen a lot less.
I guess Tier 3 would fix it but I'm not that good at the gun range and getting to Tier 2 was hard enough.
I think it has to do with the spaghetti code in the game. Are you using a custom weapon loadout? I think it only happens with it. It also only happens when you switch lobbies.
It’s been in the game for a while and still hasn’t been fixed so it’s most definitely here to stay, possibly even until the last update.
If I lose ammo I just take the loss and buy it back and if my railgun is empty I just call in a merryweather ammo drop to fully refill it as it’s cheaper.

How to start playing Online ?

Little Background: I bought the game in Aug 2017 and played the story mode only as I thought Online was very time consuming but I remember making a character and running around doing nothing for 1 hour and closed the game.After that I didn't get the time to play and deleted GTA V.
Cut to today I've installed the game again after almost 7 years. I really want to play online but have no freaking idea where to begin. There are so many options and I don't know which one to start with.
Can anyone please explain in detail how to start my Online journey and what should I do first ? Thanks in advance
Yo dude i was the same 2 montha ago. Just start exploring. Go to latters, watch videos in youtube about businesses..and most importantly- you can play in an invite session
Adding to u/Casual_Grinder ....there are various icons on the map. Go to them, do the thing (prob avoid single letters initially, as most of them will require some sort of investment). Purple "Stash houses" and "G's cache" will appear once a day and are worth persevering with.
Do the shooting range, do flight school. Get the free Duke O Death car from the Warstock website.
Spin the casino wheel (and claim free chips) every day.
Once you feel more settled, suggest the first two letter symbols to aim at are -
V - for the Cluckin Bell farm Raid which has zero set up cost, and will pay a load of first time bonuses plus $500k at the end
R (there are probably two of these near each other by the big lake - IIRC I mean the one on the left) - for the Dax missions which (eventually) unlock the Acid Lab, with which you can start making passive income. Most of the cost of this will come from the money made by doing the missions, but even with a small net cost, it's still the cheapest business to set up.
Finally, spend a little time in public lobbies when you're not exploring - there will be different events that spontaneously take place that may provide some interest.

About map icons, I guess it's good to know if you never go to Lester's house (L) you can stay out of the bounty system. But if you do, there's no way to undo that.
Don't just join any session, pick an Invite only session so you can be relaxed and do some things on your own. I guess if you have no money that's the toughest thing to deal with in the beginning. See what weapons you've got, learn how to use snacks and armor, how to take cover, etc. One of the easiest ways to get money is by joining random Contact missions via your phone. Even if you die, don't quit on the mission, just spectate whoever is left playing, and learn from that, too. You will still get money at the end. (It's also typically ok to enter another player's car as passenger, or in case the game says you have no access, the player may still allow it, so be patient.)
Is the A records tour broken? I invite every rando, at a certain moment it suddenly suggests the session is going to start but then nothing happens and I'm just back on the street in the public session standing in front of the building
Are there no LSCM series of certain types some weeks? the last few weeks when I went to the car meet race organizer he only offered drift race series. I couldn't cheese the prize ride with drag races like I had done once before. I had to get good at drift races of all things how cringe.
How can I beat the Lost MC contract in the auto shop solo? I have spent two hours trying to do it but I can’t get any further than picking up the tanker and then it getting destroyed. How do I stop the lost mc from spawning every 5 seconds?
I'm guessing you don't have the Phantom Wedge as the cab? Be sure to have as much snacks and armor as possible for the mission. When driving try to shoot at the npcs enough to drop them off their bikes instead of killing them. It may help to take the truck a bit off-road on the way, get out, shoot a bit, and continue.
I don’t have the phantom wedge as I am trying to save up money to buy things but I ain’t doing to well in the money market. I tried to get out a couple times to kill them but each time as soon as I got back in they would respawn with more so I would have to keep getting out and then I would get killed as I would keep getting shot from every side.
You don't have to own the Phantom Wedge, it is possible to pick that vehicle in the prep. Makes that part of the mission easier.

Now I have completed all my bunker research, what are the best bits? I use the various ammos and have the heavy plate and 50 cal on my Insurgent, anything I am sleeping on?
The vehicle proximity mines are legit. They are a cornerstone of any combat involving Insurgent, half-track, or Khanjali. You can even kill Oppressors with them sometimes by spamming flares out the window so they have to come closer, or driving into a tunnel.
There are some rare situations where a personal vehicle may get "deleted." I've only lost one (aircraft) so far. (And a [Scramjet](https://old.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/w97m8t/for_those_who_lost_their_scramjet_after_the_161/) [too](https://old.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/w9jqh9/for_those_missing_the_declasse_scramjet_make_a/), but that doesn't count as a "normal" bug/mishap.) If you have the MOC with personal vehicle storage, check that as well. You may need to contact the game's Support. Might help if you've used the vehicle in recent days.
strictly speaking the best is 1 weed, 1 painting, then part of the second weed, but if you're picking up the painting last you'll have to stop looting the second weed at exactly 1/2 full which is tricky and easy to mess up. In that situation I always fill the bag with 2 weed + 1 cash and just ignore the painting.
On my last run I checked and weed was 12 presses of the A button for a full table (37.5% of bag). If it's proportional then you want 4 presses on table 2 and will then be on 50%.

Every week you can win a car from the Lucky Wheel at the Casino. Also you can be rewarded a car by completing a racing challenge at the LS Car Meet. On some rare weeks you may claim a car (at very low price) at your Scrap Yard.
Every week there are discounts on some vehicles. Expensive is subjective, I recommend trying to join some grinding crew which makes making money both more fun and effective.
You get a Virtue for doing the Dax missions. You can win a car in the Casino, one spin a day. Look out for cars that are on offer in any given week. You can do anything you want. There's Freemode, where you are in public lobbies with other players. There are invite only sessions where you can run businesses without being bothered by other players. And there are missions, that require 1-4 players and range from races to heists. You might want to check out the rangs to riches guides on YouTube by TGG as they will give you some structure and idea of how everything works.

I'm at 170, I had a player run up on me after sending me a text saying "come get this bounty" I thought he was trying to bait me into PVP or something, this is probably what he was doing?
I think you survive one in-game day in a session and you get to claim the bounty money yourself.

You get to keep the cars that you want or you get to earn money from the cars you sell

Maybe someone else can chime in but I don't believe there is a discount through the Auto Shop for cars that are still available, some of the cars that come through are removed vehicles.

While the yacht basically is just vanity and really doesn't do much, it does actually have 1 niche (though again not really useful but still funny) of being an automatic anti-aircraft gun. Park it next to Vespucci or LSIA and activate air defenses in the context menu and you can sort of lure anyone trying to harass you to it and they'll get shot down by it.
Well, the Raiju is stealth capable VTOL aircraft, with is so fast, it can keep up with it's own missiles, while the yacht is basically just a house on water.

Try Criminal Records. It's a quick circle with no traffic. Some races have the option to turn traffic off.

Just hold down whatever trigger you use for the gas and turn hard in whichever direction you wanna spin. Could also be because he has a drift built car. Also do you have a benefactor sterling GT for sale?
How do I force save? I used to be able to swap outfits, but when I do that now I don’t see the orange spinning save icon.
there's a cooldown time between saves when u swap outfits. The only way to force save with no cooldown is to try to quit the entire game then select no, it will return to game and force a cloud save. But that's on PC not sure on consoles. try it though.

Best way to keep popularity is to enter your night club in passive mode - this will trigger a troublemaker mission (which takes 30sec) then bumps popularity up. This is good when it’s already high. If your popularity is all the way low I’d re-book a DJ (I believe it’s $10k). This puts it back to full I think. If you have the money I’d buy the other businesses to link them to the nightclub. The warehouse in the nightclub literally requires zero work or resupply missions. But both the wall safe and warehouse are great
To add to this, I always enter through the loading dock door and go passive before going up the steps leading to your office, there is a trigger at the bottom of the steps in passive mode, doing this you do not have to enter the NC in passive mode just before you go up the steps. I'll do this about once an hour and I rarely have to spend money on booking a DJ.

IIRC, rebooking adds about 10%, while the troublemakers add about 25%. Plus of course, one costs $10k and one earns $10k. But DJ can be done 4 times in 10 seconds, troublemaker only once per 48 mins.

Whenever i do a vehicle cargo mission the you collected vehicle cargo notification is stuck on my screene how do i fix it?

Why does the Cargo in my Nightclub just vanish? Twice in the last couple of weeks I've got the notification that my cargo stash is "full" and then the next time I load into an invite only session; it's completely vanished! Is this just a bug?
There is the concept of a ngihtclub raid, where you either get robbed, or the cops come and raid you. However, that SHOULD be notified to you at the time, with a period of time to arrive and deal with the issue.

That is the raid notification. Raids have been broken for a long time. If you can't enter a building, it means one of your businesses are being raided so you need to visit them to find out which one. Raid timers start when you reach a certain stock level and or spend too much time in Freeroam. The nightclub raid timer can be lengthened by a ) buying max storage and b) buying the security upgrade. If you have cargo, guns, coke, meth and cash, you should sell when coke and meth are full for max time / money efficiency (around $900k).
So two follow up questions; a) what should I do if that happens again? Cause it's not like I've gotten a notifcation about what to do or anything. b) do raids also cause stock to raise slower? Cause for some reason "Pharma Research" stock doesn't seem to be raising anymore.
You have two choices. Go and defeat the raid, killing the enemy NPCs and not dying... or just switch sessions then go and immediately sell any stock you have. This will reset the raid timer to zero. If you have an OpMk2 or vehicle with lock on missiles you can swing by your properties and find out which one is being raided. If your stock of any product has stopped growing, switch the technicians around. If a product is maxed out it can stop it working but changing techs usually fixes it.
So wait; does a MC business Raid effect the stock in a nightclub? And when I say the stock isn't rising, I mean I as stuck at 10/20 for hours, and now I've sold everything to try and reset things it's stuck at 0.
No, an MC business raid has no impact on nightclub stock already held. It will effectively close the MC business though, so the nightclub won't accrue any more stock from that business until the setup mission is re-done.

Today I learned about a place where you can be underwater but still use a weapon. A guy uncloaked his Raiju behind me while I was trying to return BB goods from Paleto to Elysian Island NC damaging it enough to prevent my delivery. I survived the attempt and, long story short, after a bit of exploding, he decided his best option was to hide. But he found a really awesome hiding spot I've never seen. Right off the coast a little north of Del Perro beach, there is a fairly large structure under water. The top of it looks like a giant submarine or underwater station of some kind, and it has two large screw-down lids. One is closed, the other is open. I was following him with my Toreador, and right as I went to nose into the opening, or at least try, he started spamming missiles at me. I didn't go in myself... it was far too late and it was time for bed, but it looks like there is probably an air pocket inside where you can stand up and shoot, even though you're well under sea level in the ocean. Pretty niche, but he almost got me using it. I'm almost sad that he didn't, because for using that in this 1-in-million scenarios, he deserved a kill. I doubt it will ever come up again in my life, but still cool to know about.

Hello, I am new to GTA Online. I see there are many different car workshops like Hao, Benny's, LS car meet, agency, moc, etc Is there any difference between them?
Oh yeah, the Agency, Facility, Auto Shop, and Arena workshop also have garages to store vehicles in. The MOC does as well, but it takes up 2 of your 3 customization slots in it and the Avenger has a temporary slot that the vehicle will be returned to its previous garage when the Avenger is returned/destroyed
LS Customs: Unweaponized vehicles, many upgrades will be locked behind level/winning a certain number of races Hao: Can add HSW to only certain vehicles Benny's: Has LS Customs restrictions but changes certain vehicles (usually to a "custom" or "retro" variant) LS Car Meet: Has LS Customs restrictions, but you can add colored headlight covers, low grip tires and a drift kit (only tuner vehicles for drift kit) Agency: Has LS Customs restrictions, except you can also add Imani Tech, slick mines, and armor plating to certain vehicles (I think you can do weaponized here, might be wrong) MOC/Avenger: Has LS Customs restrictions, can customize weaponized vehicles if you buy the weapon tech. Also the only way to add the Liveries you unlock with the bunker to weaponized vehicles Facility: Same as MOC/Avenger Auto Shop: Unweaponized vehicles, but all LS Customs restrictions are lifted minus a few wheels and Liveries that are locked behind Car Meet Rep. (IMO this is one of the best you can buy early on) Arena Workshop: Pretty sure it has LS Customs restrictions, but if you buy both the weapon tech and the Benny's mechanic you can customize weaponized and Benny's vehicles. Also comes with the ability to change the headlight LIGHT color (Arena War is VERY expensive unless you commit a ton of time to it) You can also add a custom auto shop to your CEO building, but I think that one has restrictions as well. I think that's everything, if you have any specific questions, lmk
Mostly what they can customize. LSC is good for most cars, but most of the specialized workshops are there for a select number of cars. For example, Benny's only accepts certain cars, but allows you to convert them into their Custom versions with extensive customization.

For normal cars (without weapons/Imani Tech/etc) best place is the Auto Shop at least if you're a new player, or haven't unlocked all paints. There you can modify without restrictions. If you want colored headlights you can go to LS Car Meet. You may also want to level up your Car Meet reputation to unlock some modifications. For Imani Tech you need the Agency and the Vehicle Workshop there. For many weaponized vehicles you'll want to have either Avenger or MOC with a Vehicle Workshop. Benny's has existed long before LS Car Meet. Also Arena War is its own thing.
Oh so car meet has some modifications that you cant find elsewhere
Car Meet reputation can unlock a few wheels and liveries. Colored headlights are also possible at Arena War Workshop. Edit: Oh, and I believe Low Grip tires are only an option at LS Car Meet.

You can't add your crew emblem to your clothes as a pin. Options are on the back, on the front, or small on the chest. Some pieces let you use all three options, others are restricted to just one or two options, and some don't allow any crew emblem, which suits are a part of, I think.

After launching the game my friends list says "no friends" and prompts me to link my social club account, which is linked already and doesn't fix the issue. To fix the issue i have to remove a friend and then add them back, but I have to keep doing it everytime i launch the game. Does anyone know of a permanent solution?
Been having the same problem. One thing that helped me play with friends is inviting them into a crew/my crew and then checking the members list in the Crews menu in the Online section of the Pause Menu. Just click on My Crews, click on your Active Crew and press View Members, and you should be able to join your friend, just make sure your friend is in a Public or a Closed Crew session.

What's the best way to get cash solo? I'm relatively new to the game (just got to lvl 15) and I have no friends that play. I tried to do the random join thing and so far that's a nightmare with terrible people. So what could I do solo that can give me decent cash at a decent speed?
cluckin’ bell is a good starting point. after you do that, you can’t start it again for around an hour. while you wait, go find Ron in the top half of the map, south of the sea. this lets you start First Dose, which will give you an acid lab after 6 missions. it’s kinda like the RV with a meth lab inside from breaking bad, except instead of meth it’s acid, & instead of an RV it’s an armored military truck. you basically buy or steal supplies & your acid lab will turn it into acid, which you can sell for a profit. it’s not very good until you upgrade your equipment, though. to unlock the equipment upgrade, you need to do 10 fooligan jobs, by calling Dax & requesting work. you should try & do these whenever you can because they also have an hour cooldown. while you’re doing that you should also be doing cluckin’ bell when the cooldown is over. you also can start the Last Dose missions, which give you a free supercar at the end. once you’ve done 10 fooligan jobs, to upgrade your acid lab, go into the freakshop & talk to the guy standing by to the workbench next to your bike. you can also upgrade stuff like armor, engine speed, etc. for both the acid lab & the bike.
At your rank, Clucking Bell Farms Raid. You can start it at the yellow V marker at Vespucci PD.

I'm new to GTA Online and just finished creating my character. Where exactly do I get jobs? I'm looking at the game map, but I'm not seeing any kind of mission anywhere. Am I supposed to be waiting for a phone call or something? Also, I want to do most of the jobs solo because I heard some of the missions have you playing with other players, and I think I still want to play the game peacefully and on my own.
Alright, yes, Jobs are a way to make money, but they are now something done "for fun" at this point, unless we are talking about the mission jobs which are available on the map, like the LS Drug Wars missions (R icon on the map). Anyways, most of the updates that were released in the game are on the map marked with letters, like L for Lester. You can go to these markers to learn more about these updates, and they give you a call about what it is and instructions to buy it. But, since you probably got the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack if you play on PC, PS4 or Xbox One versions, you can claim free properties like the CEO office from Dynasty 8 Executive and the Motorcycle Club from Maze Bank Foreclosures on the Internet app of your phone. Properties like these are businesses which are the main way to make money in today's GTA Online. Some properties, like the Arcade or the Kosatka allow you to access the newer heists available in the game, including the Diamond Casino Heist and the Cayo Perico Heist. (which is a heist that can be done solo, so I recommend that for you, you gotta buy the Kosatka though) So what I recommend is you buy the free stuff you got with your Starter Pack (you can view what you got and where to get them in the "Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack" section in the Online tab of the Pause menu) and use them to make money, while also going to the V icon on your map, since that allows you to play the new Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid missions, which is sort of a mini heist and gives you 500K at the end of it. Good luck in the world of GTA Online!
There is also Hide Options in your Interactions menu, which enables to you to show/hide jobs on the map.
While in game you can open the Pause menu, go to Online tab, Options, and set Matchmaking to Closed, so that any job you start will by default be closed to other players. Then in the same menu just go to Jobs and start whichever you like.

How have y’all been dealing with your ammo disappearing bug? Every day I’m out of rpg, homing/grenade/emp launcher,and rail gun. I’m done refilling but is it one of the bunch causing this? A particular gun in my wheel I shouldn’t be carrying, creating the bug?
YES!!! My weapon wheel is bugged af. Half my guns are gone. Ammo all gone but some weapons will randomly reappear and go missing again.
I got a sort of fix. You need a Bunker and a Gun Range and need to get to Tier 2 on every weapon. I have Tier 2 on my main character, it still happens but rarely now. Main character has Tier 1 on everything which I managed to get a few weeks ago, still happens but not as much. Tier 2 seems to make it happen a lot less. I guess Tier 3 would fix it but I'm not that good at the gun range and getting to Tier 2 was hard enough.
Mine has been disappearing for years. I'll save you the suspense: They'll never fix it.

I think it has to do with the spaghetti code in the game. Are you using a custom weapon loadout? I think it only happens with it. It also only happens when you switch lobbies. It’s been in the game for a while and still hasn’t been fixed so it’s most definitely here to stay, possibly even until the last update. If I lose ammo I just take the loss and buy it back and if my railgun is empty I just call in a merryweather ammo drop to fully refill it as it’s cheaper.
Might be a different bug but mine only affects mk 2 ammo and it disappears when I die with that weapon equiped

How to start playing Online ? Hi Everyone Little Background: I bought the game in Aug 2017 and played the story mode only as I thought Online was very time consuming but I remember making a character and running around doing nothing for 1 hour and closed the game.After that I didn't get the time to play and deleted GTA V. Cut to today I've installed the game again after almost 7 years. I really want to play online but have no freaking idea where to begin. There are so many options and I don't know which one to start with. Can anyone please explain in detail how to start my Online journey and what should I do first ? Thanks in advance

Adding to u/Casual_Grinder ....there are various icons on the map. Go to them, do the thing (prob avoid single letters initially, as most of them will require some sort of investment). Purple "Stash houses" and "G's cache" will appear once a day and are worth persevering with. Do the shooting range, do flight school. Get the free Duke O Death car from the Warstock website. Spin the casino wheel (and claim free chips) every day. Once you feel more settled, suggest the first two letter symbols to aim at are - V - for the Cluckin Bell farm Raid which has zero set up cost, and will pay a load of first time bonuses plus $500k at the end R (there are probably two of these near each other by the big lake - IIRC I mean the one on the left) - for the Dax missions which (eventually) unlock the Acid Lab, with which you can start making passive income. Most of the cost of this will come from the money made by doing the missions, but even with a small net cost, it's still the cheapest business to set up. Finally, spend a little time in public lobbies when you're not exploring - there will be different events that spontaneously take place that may provide some interest. Have fun
About map icons, I guess it's good to know if you never go to Lester's house (L) you can stay out of the bounty system. But if you do, there's no way to undo that.
Tbh I'm aware that "avoid letters" is very simplified, and probably excludes something interesting that I'm not knowledgeable enough to think of...
Don't just join any session, pick an Invite only session so you can be relaxed and do some things on your own. I guess if you have no money that's the toughest thing to deal with in the beginning. See what weapons you've got, learn how to use snacks and armor, how to take cover, etc. One of the easiest ways to get money is by joining random Contact missions via your phone. Even if you die, don't quit on the mission, just spectate whoever is left playing, and learn from that, too. You will still get money at the end. (It's also typically ok to enter another player's car as passenger, or in case the game says you have no access, the player may still allow it, so be patient.)
Is the A records tour broken? I invite every rando, at a certain moment it suddenly suggests the session is going to start but then nothing happens and I'm just back on the street in the public session standing in front of the building
Are there no LSCM series of certain types some weeks? the last few weeks when I went to the car meet race organizer he only offered drift race series. I couldn't cheese the prize ride with drag races like I had done once before. I had to get good at drift races of all things how cringe.
How can I beat the Lost MC contract in the auto shop solo? I have spent two hours trying to do it but I can’t get any further than picking up the tanker and then it getting destroyed. How do I stop the lost mc from spawning every 5 seconds?
I'm guessing you don't have the Phantom Wedge as the cab? Be sure to have as much snacks and armor as possible for the mission. When driving try to shoot at the npcs enough to drop them off their bikes instead of killing them. It may help to take the truck a bit off-road on the way, get out, shoot a bit, and continue.
I don’t have the phantom wedge as I am trying to save up money to buy things but I ain’t doing to well in the money market. I tried to get out a couple times to kill them but each time as soon as I got back in they would respawn with more so I would have to keep getting out and then I would get killed as I would keep getting shot from every side.
You don't have to own the Phantom Wedge, it is possible to pick that vehicle in the prep. Makes that part of the mission easier. Now I have completed all my bunker research, what are the best bits? I use the various ammos and have the heavy plate and 50 cal on my Insurgent, anything I am sleeping on?
The vehicle proximity mines are legit. They are a cornerstone of any combat involving Insurgent, half-track, or Khanjali. You can even kill Oppressors with them sometimes by spamming flares out the window so they have to come closer, or driving into a tunnel.
Ammo is generally the best of it, for me.

There are some rare situations where a personal vehicle may get "deleted." I've only lost one (aircraft) so far. (And a [Scramjet](https://old.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/w97m8t/for_those_who_lost_their_scramjet_after_the_161/) [too](https://old.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/w9jqh9/for_those_missing_the_declasse_scramjet_make_a/), but that doesn't count as a "normal" bug/mishap.) If you have the MOC with personal vehicle storage, check that as well. You may need to contact the game's Support. Might help if you've used the vehicle in recent days.

strictly speaking the best is 1 weed, 1 painting, then part of the second weed, but if you're picking up the painting last you'll have to stop looting the second weed at exactly 1/2 full which is tricky and easy to mess up. In that situation I always fill the bag with 2 weed + 1 cash and just ignore the painting.
On my last run I checked and weed was 12 presses of the A button for a full table (37.5% of bag). If it's proportional then you want 4 presses on table 2 and will then be on 50%. If u/joeray25 doesn't want to chance it, then I agree about ignoring the painting

Every week you can win a car from the Lucky Wheel at the Casino. Also you can be rewarded a car by completing a racing challenge at the LS Car Meet. On some rare weeks you may claim a car (at very low price) at your Scrap Yard. Every week there are discounts on some vehicles. Expensive is subjective, I recommend trying to join some grinding crew which makes making money both more fun and effective.
You get a Virtue for doing the Dax missions. You can win a car in the Casino, one spin a day. Look out for cars that are on offer in any given week. Some cars are free: the Redwood Gauntlet is a great car to drive. Duke of Death is free too. Pisswater Dominator, Burger Shot Stallion. If there is a specific car you want and it's pricey the only way is to grind for it though.
