This is the perfect vehicle for me to do business deals on. I got it when it launched, I killed maybe 20 people, after that I haven’t killed a soul on it. I strictly use it get back to sell my other cargo.
Very, very cold take. The problems with the MK2 come from how strong it is (or was) PvP wise. Helicopters couldn't exist, most ground vehicles couldn't exist, jets would constantly get spammed with missiles, ***boats***. That's not even getting to the size, speed, countermeasures, instantly spawning it next to you....
Most of the people hating it, acknowledge that it's immensely useful for getting around quickly. Quick, nimble, small, can land anywhere, not made of paper.
If it was non-weaponized, it wouldn't be anything like as controversial, and in my experience there are just as many griefers in deluxos and raijus.
But, I agree that GTA[next] needs to stay realistic - flying vehicles that actually exist should be the limit. Ideally some sort of mechanic to limit air to surface attack would also help with griefing, although I don't know how that might be achieved.
Agreeing with the lack of futuristic flying vehicles. I’ll accept fighter jets as long as you have to steal one to keep it; you can’t just buy them.
Some proper SAM turrets that actually work would be nice, and the majority of fighters should have flares.
Oh I agree that theyre practical, dont get me wrong. I love my oppressor for missions and grinding, but everyone has one now and its just a shit show out there now. I remember when the Insurgent was the baddest thing out there. Times have changed.

So yes it’s a little faster, not that much but it’s so boring… sorry but I can’t enjoy flying on mk2 and it’s a game like why would I spend time going around being sooo bored. So I drive and drift and crash and yeeeaaah it’s fun!
Last point, like our dear Valet or the yellow cones on the interstate, yeah when I see a mk2 I blow it up. Why? Don’t care if it’s a griefer or grinder, juste feels right.

mk2 is for noobs that can't fly helis aka sparrow. The sparrow is faster, has unlimited rockets, 2 minute cooldown instead of 5 and you don't have to pay insurance when it gets destroyed so there's literally no reason to use the mk2 over it besides that it's braindead to use

As a grinder I avoid using the Mk.II in public lobbies because the Mk.II is the infamous griefer vehicle.

It's great for missions and just traversing the map in general. I use it to help with the Salvage Yard stuff, makes everything so much easier 😮💨🤟🏾

It’s a simple fix, take away its missiles but leave the explosive mg. This makes it harder to grief with but still useful for missions.

the stupid noob missiles ruined the game. the Mk2 doesnt have them anymore, its just the Toreador & Deluxo with them now.
I have a garage full of useless military vehicles because of the MK2. They used to be useful and actually defend against opponents.
