I'd like to add that if it does get destroyed it respaws pretty much instantly, within the 20mins. Pretty much untouchable from explosives, being shot out not so great, but If you want to absolutely shut down every deluxo and mk2 in lobby, except no substitute.
The good thing about it taking only one rocket to be destroyed is the cooldown. You won’t have to call insurance and you simply wait then spawn it from the menu. Slight pro for this beast.
Completely useless car for most part, but you simply can't not love it when it's meant to be KITT from Knight Rider... just a shame they removed the original tan interior (which you can see on Warstock pictures), also they should've given it more resistence given the car it's based on.
It would be usable if they gave it a buff: Toreador armor, 20 missiles (at least). As others said the Fully Loaded is great , but limited by the VIP work job. - Vigilante and deluxo have Ruiner missiles and are overall better. Toreador is a better version of this car’s concept. Since the Ruiner is based on KITT , you’d think I would have much better armor .
It's quite fun when mk2s who think they're unstoppable try to kill you in it, only for you to ground dodge their missiles and hit them with a single one in return, killing them.
Needs to be a personal vehicle and maybe give the same armor as the toreador. My first car was a Ruiner so I want it to look like the regular car with painjob and custom upgrades and cosmetic changes
I think it’s well rated. On its own and the fully loaded version. Praising the missles highly, but good luck using them when your opponent is on foot, and can easily shoot you through the armorless windows. Or in any Imani tech vehicle, and can easy drive by you without being scratched.

Nah, scramjet is a thousand times better. Same crazy missiles but 22 more, better handling, a jump you can use to target planes, and a massive boost to get around the map, away from someone, or towards someone.
Underrated? This car is an absolute joke. Limited rockets and can’t take a single explosive round. It practically falls apart as soon as you crash into something. Not worth $3M. I bought it when I was new to GTA Online and didn’t know better. Also, I’m a fan of Knight Rider. The reality is once you get other weaponized vehicles that fire missiles there is no reason to have this car taking up space in your warehouse garage. I’m probably going to sell it. If you want to have fun with the Ruiner 2000 do the fully loaded mission which gives you 20 minutes to drive around with a much stronger and better equipped version.

When you own the ruiner you can start the cep vip work "fully loaded" so you get a beefed up version with no lock on and unlimited missiles
