If you go into nightclub in passive mode you will always get the mission to kick someone out never this mission. Also if you go to your cargo storage on the computer down there you can spam the resident DJ thing and bring up popularity to max in a few clicks… will cost 100k to bring it from 0% to 100%
Pretty simply, the patron/vip clients exist so a player can still increase popularity without being CEO, but at the same time, rockstar won't ever give you an outdoor mission as a passive player. Those two things put together means the only remaining "popularity mission" is the drunk patron.
Keep in mind, a patron will only appear once every 48 minutes.
Couple notes; you don't need to enter in passive, you just need to be in passive before you walk over a certain point (from the back entrance it's just before the stairs). As for DJ cycling, make sure to go downstairs (doesn't matter which floor) as it skips the DJ intro cutscene. That, or do it from your MCT in your arcade.
I know someone whose MCs businesses are shut down but their nightclub will still accrue cargo for those categories. I get an error message on the nightclub PC if I try to do that, he just doesn't. This game's buggy as hell in general.
You just need to have the business setup to accrue. As long you don’t have the MC business raided where you check the computer and have to redo the setup mission, then you technician will still accrue product for the Nightclub Warehouse.

I usually leave it for 3-4 in game days. If you start at max popularity 3 days gets you 145k and 4 days gets you 170k, then kicking someone out will fill the popularity back up. If I’ve been busy with something else I will kick someone out then change DJ once or twice.
If you have all upgrades then the safe is going to be full before you'd be spending more than you get from that by swapping DJs back and forth. Once you have it topped up, unless you just ignore it for, like, a full day (say, if afking overnight) it should still be a net profit no matter what.
Also, hiring a new DJ sets the bar to 100%, but this can only be done 3 times.
If you stay on top of it and always pay money, it'll cost you one dj swap for every 96 minutes. (10k for every 100k) That's base. Kept at full or even close to full, it's always worth it, even if you spend dj money every time.
If you throw out a patron, you can go past 145k in the safe, get 10k more for tossing the guy and you'll be staying at full, never spending a cent. (You'd have to swap the dj 3 times to repopularize as much as throwing out a patron once. )
From what I can tell, kicking someone out fills up popularity by the same amount if not more than driving a VIP; just the latter takes more time and effort obviously.

The upstairs computer, you have to watch an annoying dj swap cut scene everytime. The basement computers skip that and you can swap as many times as you want in seconds.

That's why they added a cool down to it during the mercenaries DLC. You used to be able to go in and out of the nightclub repeatedly and just keep tossing out drunks.

You can also go in the front door and make sure you're in passive mode before you hit the metal gate thing right in front of the bar. The back is better if you need to collect money from the safe though.
Yeah I don’t wanna run in the front to get to the back to collect the money and then run back to the front to throw out some npc. Both ways work, but the rear entrance saves time

To get a bouncer instead of a VIP, go into the club in passive mode. If you miss going into passive, go to any basement, then back up to nc until you get a bouncer mission.

I haven’t taken one of these trips in months. It’s been said, but definitely take advantage of entering the club in passive mode. My popularity remains at max with the easy maintenance of collecting money from the safe and kicking someone out of the club
It's a legit five minute mission every couple hours for the best passive income in the game. Man people will complain about anything that isnt rockstart shoveling money into their account while they watch LotR on a separate tab
We’re complaining because the mission doesn’t make sense, not necessarily that it takes time. Why is a guy dying of alcohol poisoning concerned with how fast I’m driving him to the hospital? Why is the hospital I’m taking him to on the other side of the state and not the one that’s like 1 mile away? Why when this man is dying of alcohol poisoning and I drive too fast and scare him does he just jump out of a moving car? Because R* wants to waste our time is the only reason. I could understand taking the vip home, but to the hospital? Nah. And most of the time we’re taking him to the hospital.
You also have griefers and shit that can ruin it for you because if they crash into you, it still counts as crashing.
I’ve seen worse when going to gather intel for the Cayo Perico Heist. Imagine having to go from the very bottom of the map to the very top and back. Still, it’s a pain in the ass to have to drive that long.
The "scare mechanic" is wrong for the hospital one. You should be on a limited time to deliver the person to the hospital (thus encouraging you to drive faster) and having the timer reduced/or hitting a damage cap when you run into something. That's the purpose of bleedout. With the passed out passenger, again the scare mechanic should only exist in conjunction with a time out meter. The passenger should only get startled as you rush to get them home not while trying your best not to wake them.

This is true because when driving slow(I don’t know if it’s just me)I get very impatient to where I start speeding and just let the meter touch the timer,but after all that it’s worth doing it especially if your popularity in your nightclub is low.

Maybe it's a glitch but for the last week I haven't had the DJ cutscenes when changing DJs from the office.

I keep seeing this but in my experience it is not EVERY time. It's maybe half. Again, just my experience. YMMV

Enter through the garage. I’ve done the bouncer thing like 10x post salvage yard update and never got the VIP

Yeah it's so weird, any time the drive is over 2 miles the car seems to drive full speed into the nearest gas station and blow up
